Was driving by and pulled in for a quick bite to eat heading to the job site. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the chicken tenders and they where amazing super juicy, perfect amount of breading on them and was fried to perfection.

I came in to place a to go order for a breakfast plate and an order of cold chicken salad no bread and the chef came from the back to hastily tell me that they dont sell it without the bread and cant do that! Neither by the scoop or pound only as a sandwich and for me to go to another place that will do that for me. I was honestly shocked so I just said ok ill take breakfast plate only. But I won't be back here. The orders ladies on the register were very nice

$10 for gravy biscuits and sausage. Took a while to get refills on drinks. Seemed as if you were a regular, treatment was better.

Expectations met. It's a mom and pop old school kinda place, nothing fancy shmancy. I ordered the fish lunch special. It came out quickly and was crispy hot and tasty. I really liked the tartar sauce and the potato salad was surprisingly delicious and homemade,if not I need to know where they buy it. I had candied yams too, I don't know why I don't really like them maybe I just didn't want fries. Anyway I'm going to get back there. I really want to try breakfast. Don't know if it's served all day, next time I'll ask.

One of many small, family owned breakfast venues just north of downtown with the decades long tradition of simple, fast, and easy service. Exceptional French toast, great food in general, and Teresa was phenomenal. Gonna take my old man here.

Tatsis is a phenomenal restaurant! They have a 100 as a Sanitation Grade which I’ve never even seen before! Pete and his family are serving very exceptional food out of a perfectly clean kitchen. It’s so tasty and reasonably priced that I eat there at least once a week. Try the hash browns extra crunchy with onions… it’s not on the menu… you’re welcome. The fried fish is super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside! Tatsis is a real Charlotte Institution.
Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat pork and they offer Turkey Sausage.
