We got the pandan and ube mochi donuts, and they were delicious. They make the donuts fresh when you order and the texture is so perfectly chewy. The glazes weren't too sweet and the crushed peanuts on top added a nice savory element. I also appreciate that they checked if we were allergic to peanuts when we ordered. We were just visiting Charlotte, but if we were local, we would absolutely come by more often and try their other drinks and menu items.

Food is out of this world. My wife and I have been coming here every weekend for months now, trying out different menu items. (They have special items on the weekends.)
It's always a 10 out of 10, if not 11 out of ten.
To keep it really simple, this is the best Vietnamese food we've had out. Full stop, compared to eateries in Vietnam and every US state we've been to, the best. For anyone versed in Vietnamese cuisine, the owner-chef seems to always get it right no matter what region it's from. She adds her own unique quality to each dish while also preserving the right character and taste.
I'll note that the prices of some items are a few dollars higher than you'll get elsewhere, but it's well worth it in terms of quality and quantity. You can tell the ingredients are top shelf. I think this place actually gives the best bang for your buck compared to other places.
Finally, the premises and staff are also top of the line. I mentioned we've been coming for a few months; we haven't seen staff turnover in that time. It's nice to see and means good things.

Sweet Corner Café is such a hidden gem. The smell of fresh pastries hits you as soon as you walk in, and everything in the display case looks amazing. I tried the strawberry shortcake and an iced latte — both were perfect. The cake was soft, not overly sweet, and the cream tasted fresh. It’s also a cute place to sit and read or catch up with friends. The staff even gave me a free cookie just because it was almost closing time. Little details like that make you want to come back.
