If I could give zero stars I would, its 4/8/24 at 9:10pm , I stood at the front for 25mins the bar was close and even though I spoke to the manager when I walked in and she continued to do what she was doing but told me I need to wait to be seated, and allowed me to stand there. I blame management she is horrible

A BIG JOKE!! How is this location even still open?! SHORT STAFFED, no one even greets you when you enter. The ONE girl they do have working with those horrible lashes have the audacity to have a nasty attitude. I will NEVER spend another dime in the Rivergate location and I live in the neighborhood. I’d rather drive to the TGIF at North Lake for better service. If I could rate a ZERO I would!! HORRIBLE?

Me and my partner haven't been to TGI Fridays in awhile and decided to eat out here on 4/1/24. As soon as we walked in the receptionist seated us quickly. 20 minutes went by and I noticed no one came to serve us. They were not busy - they only had customers at the bar. I had to get out my seat and track the women who sat us down (she had dreadlocks and gold teeth) to ask if we were going to be served? She then told me she can serve us and asked me what would I like to drink which was weird because I was not in my seat. I then asked her can she come to our table and serve us....you know like a server would normally do. As we were placing our order my partner asked for a draft beer. We were told they didn't have anything on draft. After begging to be served and not receiving what we came for we decided to spend our money elsewhere which I'm glad we did. I stay down the street from Rivergate and I will probably never think about spending my money here. The workers here could care less about their customers and could use some training.

This is the worst restaurant in Charlotte! I have been here a handful of times and I’m always disappointed and furious when I leave this establishment. I have given up all together on coming here and will NEVER come back. I actually use to bartend for this company in NYC so my standards were set pretty high being that I worked for the company for several years. Staff is very unprofessional and unorganized and food is always terrible. Management is even worse. They need to shut this place down all together and really think about new management and getting this restaurant together. I actually ordered take out late week and when I walked in the bartender was blasting music so loud that I had to yell that I was there to pick up a Togo order and she still kept the music blasting. Thank god I had already paid. If anyone goes into this place prepare to be disappointed.

The empty parking lot should’ve been my first clue! The server was very nice. Not great service but definitely not bad! The food on the other hand was possibly the worst food that I’ve ever had! I think I ate 2 bites! Even the presentation was terrible! Looked like something a teenager would make at home when they were desperately hungry! Not to mention, we were given plastic silverware in the little plastic bags! You would think for the price you would, at least, get real silverware! The bathroom was disgusting and my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked! The whole restaurant just seemed unsanitary! Worst $50 I’ve ever spent! We will not be revisiting ever! Total waste of money! I wish I could say that TGIFriday’s has gone down hill but if I’m being honest, it has hit rock bottom!

I’m extremely disappointed with the food and service that we received at TGIF on South Tryon in Charlotte. My family received our food and my son’s burger was missing cheese and fries were cold. We sent it back and it literally took 25-30 minutes for it to come back out. My husband and I completely finished our food before my son’s food came out. I asked to speak to the manager and he sent word out to use that he would come BUT it would be a minute. There was no urgency to speak with us or rectify the situation. This is piss pour service and unacceptable. The waitress was nice enough but overall our experience was poor. Oh, and let me not forget to add, they didn’t have any clean utensils so we had to use plastics.

This review is specifically on the server. My wife and I went for dinner. The food itself was great. However, when it came time for the bill, the server set the check on an empty table adjacent to us. We asked why, and she stated she's done it before with other patrons. We asked to speak with a manager who was not helpful at all. As we explained to her, she just had a smirk on her face. When we spoke to the general manager, we were given corporate information. During this time, the server came up to us and said it's not a big deal and we can just leave. This was very unprofessional on her behalf. I would avoid going to this establishment at all costs as some folks definitely need to be retrained.

I will not return back to this place. The service was disappointing, and the whole time I was eating my food, the employees smelt like marijuana. Also, an employee had her child going in and out of the kitchen and touching food in the area behind the bar. I also saw 2 families leave because no one came to offer them service. Please do not go here! If I had a zero rating I would have chosen that.

It used to be good, we went yesterday and I promise, the waitress slash bar tender was very unprofessional. Food was horrible. Not sure if it's under new management but if so they need to hire more professional people when we as consumers pay professional prices. I'm never going back, the bar tender seemed spaced out and I ordered a double shot and she poured the liquor in my already made drink, whereas she gave my fiance a shot glass?? Unprofessional, I tried calling the restaurant today, held phone 30 minutes, no answer. Also check your food before leaving, again it was Horrible! Spent 100 freaking dollars for this ! Not good.

Food was what you expect at a chain restaurant, it was fine. The service was terrible, though. Wasn't given straws when our drinks came, no napkins the entire visit and we couldn't find our waitress for 20 minutes when it was time to pay and go home with a sleepy / grumpy kid. No bartender. Manager walked me back to my table when I told her I couldn't find my waitress, and the wait to run my card took long as well. Spent almost 2 hours here. Not a great experience.

Was there a couple days ago and my family's good was all slimy, the female servers were rude and unhelpful and my daughters said that there was poop all over the bathroom walls and floors. Very unclean and takes your appetite away.

Servers were insanely rude to my companions and brought out a moldy Strawberry Henny. My friend went into the bathroom feeling nauseous after her grey Philly cheese steak and found the bathroom was covered in human excrement. Overall horrible. Avoid at all costs.
