I will definitely be visiting Rally again and again. The entire facility is beautiful and was just an overall great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were very tasty and visually pleasing.
RJ and Becca were our servers and they along with the staff at Annex at Rally went above and beyond to ensure we were well served! The Sous chef (sorry I didn’t get your name but thank you) gave amazing recommendations as well! We had the spicy tuna crispy rice and the chicken kabob! We will be back!!!

I’d like to preface this review by pointing out that I do not play pickleball. While I love a racket sport, I have yet to catch pickleball fever, but I digress. My friend and I catch up once a month. Each month we make it our mission to try a new spot. I caught wind through an acquaintance that The Annex at Rally was an up-and-coming culinary hot spot.I was skeptical. (Remember: I don’t play pickleball. Can pickleball and culinary craftsmanship coexist?)I am here to report that they do. They absolutely do.From the minute I walked in, I was floored by the intentionality that went into the design aesthetic, the hospitality of my server, Price, and the menu options that tempted me to order one of everything.Joe, the gracious and passionate sous chef, asked my friend and me to try two experimental desserts and offer feedback. When a gooey, chocolate mountain of greatness that resembles a s'more makes its way to the menu- order not one, but two because you won’t want to share.I’m not a foodie, so this review will spare you my meal details, however, I am a self-proclaimed customer experience “expert” (please note quotations highlight the facetious nature of that statement).Would recommend The Annex 20/10.Oh, and remember how I don’t play pickleball?Well, thanks to The Annex, which has an indoor/outdoor bar that showcases the courts, I picked up a paddle.Wine and dine at The Annex, you won’t be disappointed.

What a lovely dinner spot, even if you're not into pickle ball! We stopped here when we were in town visiting and staying nearby and we wish we lived closer. Joe - the chef was amazing, explaining the components on the delicious Spanish board we got, and suggesting the perfect kabob dish for us to share to complete the meal. The food was excellent, and the ambiance is great. I'm surprised it isn't packed in here!
Dietary restrictions: Very attentive to allergies. v

After a fun round of pickleball, there is nothing better than a fantastic meal and a drink at Rally. We had the Spanish Riviera board, a Rally Old Fashioned and a Queen City Spritz. Everything exceeded our expectations!
I had dinner at The Annex twice last week. I wasn’t sure dinner at a pickleball place was the move since I don’t play pickleball (sorry), but there were plenty of other people there just to eat and drink and watch people play on the outdoor courts, so I was encouraged. Another plus was that I got to wear athleisure to a nice dinner without getting any raised eyebrows. The first time I went was with my boyfriend and we split the elotes ribs, which were insanely good, and did our own tacos. He got the chicken which he liked a lot and I did the shrimp. The chili oil and green sauce they serve on the side were *chef’s kiss.* We also each had mezcal palomas and were advised by the bartender to try with the smokier of the two main mezcal options, which was 100% the move.We went back later in the week for my boyfriend to play in Paddle Battle. While he did that, I sat at the bar and dined solo. A weird observation is that the bar windows are giant and they leave them open to look over the outdoor courts, but they have giant fans (they don’t blow straight on you but like around you? idk) so you have the benefit of feeling like you’re eating outside while also not expiring in the July record temps. Also it somehow is NOT loud even with the games going on outside and you can hear anyone who talks to you/the music in the Annex. But about the food: I revisited the shrimp tacos and did the Rally fries, which were crispy and perfect. And of course, I had 2 more palomas. The summary is that I’ll be back later this week. Love u, Annex.
