Came on a date, ordered two meals and I found myself eating mine alone for 20 minutes before the waitress realized the kitchen dropped the ball and forgot about my girlfriend’s dinner.Despite me asking about non alcoholic drinks at the beginning, the owner then tried to remedy the situation by bringing us a glass of proesecco, which felt tasteless. The food is fantastic but the service was lackadaisical and unattentive at best.

We had a party of 5 at the Artisan’s Palette last night and had a fantastic experience. We were seated right away and, despite an extremely busy dining room, our server came to our table right away and had our drinks to the table before we knew it. The margarita, wines, and mocktails were all so delicious. Dinner was top notch. We started with the seasonal kalettes and followed with burrata salad (loved this), wine-poached pear salad, shrimp and artichoke salad, olive tapenade (a personal favorite), skillet spoonbread, butternut squash and curried pear soup (smooth and a little spicy), the NY strip and the lamb shank vindaloo. All amazing dishes. The chef visited our table at least three times and was delightful. You can tell that her heart and soul goes into this place and its dishes. We finished with a tour of the art gallery and the back garden area. I can’t wait to go back. THANK YOU, Artisan’s Palette!

I went last night for my first time. We had a 7:30pm reservation on Friday night. My take-away is that the restaurant was either not properly staffed, does not have a well-tuned logistical system, or accepts too many reservations. They need to reduce their capacity until they prove their wait-staff competency.Waiting 25 minutes for a beer and 30 minutes for a cocktail are true signs of stress. When we wanted to order food, and had questions about the menu, the waitress was difficult to find and, later, communicate with. She made us feel rushed and spent no time highlighting anything on the menu.I’ll add that the noise of the place was overbearing. They should contemplate investing in ceiling tiles to dampen the clamor. This seems like the kind of place that could be amazing during a slow night in the summer when you can open up the front windows and feel a breeze. As the food was pretty good we may try this place again in the future, but certainly not on a weekend.

A friend has her art in show at the Gallery, and we attended the opening with a group. We had a great time, good food, and good vibes. This is a great place to hang out, imbibe, and eat.

It's definitely a small plates restaurant for at a fine dinning price. I absolutely love it as a treat and look forward to going (once a year on our grad student budget). Dessert was amazing and definitely recommend the bread pudding!

Fun drinks (great “Old Fashioned” options) and delicious small-bites options. Service was a little slow …

I have to be honest- I’ve been to Artisan’s Palate one time before this and didn’t write a review because it was a lackluster experience. It had such great reviews, so I was super so I wanted to give it a second try and so glad I did! I know all of us could have an off night! I went with a big group of people, and even though we all had separate checks, the service was stellar. We each always had a drink, and the staff were very accommodating to all our different needs. It was a little loud, but there was live music, so I can’t complain about that. The food was spectacular. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and generous portions. My friends and I had the charcuterie plate and it was delicious. I also shared my friends fries and pulled chicken sliders. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The pulled chicken sliders were absolutely delicious. They were moist and full of flavor. I also had the mussels in white wine sauce. The broth was delicious and I drank it out of the bowl lol. The bread that came with everything was also super crispy. I also had my own order of the bacon wrapped dates. Probably one of my favorite things on the menu. Full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My friends had the grilled octopus and she loved it. She said it wasn’t rubbery and dry. She also had the olive appetizer. They were very generous with the amount of olives. The drinks were spectacular as well. I had a really great martini and they had a pretty great wine list by the glass. I had a few glasses of Viogner. I wish I had room for dessert. Next time!

I visited Artisan’s Palette for the first time last week. I can’t wait to revisit. It’s a beautiful spot honoring art and artisans, premium products and a comfortable atmosphere that begs you stay longer than intended. The drinks were on point. We visited on a cold and stormy day — therefore our selection of a creamy tomato soup and grilled cheese. Absolute. Perfection. Can’t wait to find any and all excuses to come back.

Artisan's Palate is a welcomed addition to No Da's restaurant scene. Creativefresh dishes in a very friendly atmosphere surrounded with local art. Not only is it chef owned by New York native Christa but has a real parking lot, rare in this area. Relax with a large selection of bar drinks and wine.

Me and my sister came to Charlotte for a girls weekend and stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Alberto was our waiter and he was AMAZING!! Super attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was also top ten! We had mimosas and I let them surprise me with my flavors, ten out of ten recommend! I would be a regular here if I lived here. I’m visiting from San Diego, CA and I now need to find this type of atmosphere there.

I'm a big fan of The Artisan's Palate. I tried the mussels, and they were truly delectable! I opted for the chorizo addition, but to be honest, the standard dish was the highlight. The limited seating creates an intimate atmosphere, and the presence of an art gallery, with rotating featured artists, adds to the charm. Right after leaving, I was already planning my next visit.

Amazing food artistry. Bring your open mind and empty belly. We had the basics: soups and salads and all were first class. Great local veggies. Bright colors, fresh flavors, nice peeps.
