The table service is great however the food needs plenty of work. Went there for the first time yesterday and ordered from the brunch menu ( eggs were horrible, the eggs look fake…. steak was raw in the middle even though we requested medium well, the biscuits are very dry , the grits are too salty and the mimosas taste horrible) disappointed. Poor quality of food

I had dinner at the bar. The chicken sandwich was everything Chick-fil-A’s wishes it was, and the Mac n cheese was delicious. The Penicillin is a good drink. Also, Edgar at the bar was extremely friendly and personable.

This is definitely a unique sit to visit! The sticky bun appetizers are to die for!! If you go during brunch they have a mimosa picture for 26$ that gave us about 8 glasses collectively which was amazing! The salmon was pretty good as well as the classic breakfast. The only downside I can see that makes the experience a little weird is the shirts the wait staff are wearing definitely gives you a Cracker Barrel/ general store type feel.. not what I would be expecting for this type of restaurant definitely didn’t match the aesthetic.

The description of the restaurant did not match what we found when we arrived. A very small venue with a limited menu. The food was good but nothing special. We would not recommend it. There are better restaurants in the area.

Went for a Valentine’s day dinner, was a mistake. Food was pretty good but service was slow and lacking. Pictures of the place look nice but in person it’s not that special. Overall not worth the price.

We have eaten in many fine NYC restaurants and this meal, and the service was better than in all of them. The fish and duck tasted amazing and looked amazing too. The presentation was beautiful. We sent kudos to the chef. The servers were very attentive, right there when we needed them. We recommend the Ashbury highly for a fine dining experience.

The Asbury was an amazing experience. We ate breakfast and brunch there. The brunch was absolutely delicious! The beignets were so warm and flaky and we could have eaten more batches. The server recommended entrees because all of them sounded like they'd be something we'd enjoy. We went with the classic breakfast and chicken & waffles. The bartender are the BEST nonalcoholic cocktails for us that we yummy and cute. ALL of our servers were so personable and caring! The pricing and quality of the food was so impressive. We will definitely be back soon!

My friends and I were so excited to try this new brunch spot. Unfortunately it did not work out this way. One of my friends tried to order an iced coffee, and they only served hot coffee at this location. They did make accommodations and serve a cup of warm coffee with a cup of ice on the side and a small side of oatmeal cookie creamer. She did not ask if she wanted any other type of creamer. She just served her this type. One of my friends and I both ordered the eggs Benedict. This was nothing of the swortz. We were served a pile of salmon that looks like it was can. It was extremely unappetizing and left us feeling uneasy and sick in the car. My friends eggs that were supposed to be poached were hard-boiled, and there was no hollandaise sauce included on this dish. The waitress told us that this menu item had been added to the menu just the day before when days before we were checking the menu and we saw it on the menu already. The appearance of the eggs Benedict looked like a pile of mush. Overall, we would never return this location and do not recommend anyone anyone order the eggs Benedict. My other friend got the strawberry pancakes and said that they were pretty good.

Friends and I just happened upon The Asbury for brunch last Saturday morning, and we were so glad we did! The menu has classic brunch options but also some unique finds as well. I had the Asbury Breakfast Stack and the jalapeno potato cakes with ‘Nduja gravy was such a delicious combination of flavors. In addition to the food, the service was just wonderful. A big shout-out to Nikki for her personable and professional service – she had us smiling and laughing. I will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful Valentines night experience. The bar designed a specialty drink menu which was very pleasing prior to our sit down dinner. Service as always top notch at both Ashbury and Dunhill Hotel. They have never fallen short on service and thoughtfulness to their clientele. A pillar to the Charlotte hospitality experiance.

Good location in the city. Very small restaurant. Limited menu. Had a seafood soup that tasted oily and more like lemon than seafood. Had pork chop dinner and vegetable gnocchi. They were ok but but agreed pretty salty. No time for dessert as service was extremely slow, even with only a few active tables at any time. Would not be inclined to go back.

We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We had an enjoyable conversation with the chef. We hadn't eaten here before and were very glad we came. The charcuterie board was not on the menu but we had heard they had an excellent one that was sometimes on the menu. They made one up just for us and it was delicious. We'll be back.

Restaurant front entrywas open and cold air blew in to dining area. Finally picked door to enter via hotel. Our dinner salad arrived with no dressing which was good. Dressing was not to our taste at all. Service was attentive but kitchen was slow. Lemon mousse was delicious.

We stopped in for brunch as planned. It took over 20 minutes to get our mimosas and the waitress was not very attentive. The food was good, but I'm not sure that I would return.
