Hotel was terrible! The lady at the desk was rude. Was told I was going to be charged $30 for hotel parking (not valet), and was charged $50 instead. Outside the hotel was noisy! The hotel parking was small and not worth any type of money considering there is another garage next to it with cheaper parking, and it's public parking not even correlated with the hotel. Went to get breakfast in the morning, was told it was free, ended up having to pay for it, and the lady at the front desk was annoyed we asked her where they severed breakfast. I have stayed at many hotels in Charlotte, but nothing compares to how miserable of an experience this one was. I will not be returning, and I really hope that management can do some all around improvement at this hotel!

lady at front desk cancelled our reservation without even telling us just because our whole party hadn't arrived yet. Had an attitude and didnt bother to ask about the age of the rest of our guest when we were clearly still waiting for people. Even suggested us to go to another hotel.

If this app would allow zero stars, that's what I would pick. This place is so dirty and all of the rooms smell like mildew. The absolute worst part of this stay was that the staff is so incredibly RUDE!!! Do not stay here, you will regret it .

Probably one of the worst Marriott's I've stayed in!!! You hear cars roaring in the road, their radios, literally not sound proof AT ALL! I woke up 5 times in just one night because of the noise!!! Worst night of sleep! Also the room smells weird and the halls are carpeted with nasty carpet that looks like it's never been replaced! The bathrooms are outdated and crusty. But the worst of the worst is the loud road noise that is constant!!! I called the front desk and they dont have any ear plugs but it seriously is necessary to even sleep a wink here.

Great food, bartender was exceptional, so nice to just grab something to drink and eat at the hotel after a long weekend instead of having to find a place to eat on a Sunday night.

The hotel is a great location. Everything within walking distance that you could need. Restaurants and shopping, the stadium, etc. the drawbacks is parking is ridiculous for the day- yes it's on par with surroundings but those are also ridiculous. The restaurant in the hotel is overpriced and not that great, for the cost of the hotel a continental breakfast would not be crazy to have. It's always bizarre to me that a cheap hotel in a suburb will have all the free/included amenities but the overpriced ones in the city will not. I would stay here again for the location but not for the value or amenities

The lobby is the nicest thing about this hotel, too bad I couldn't sleep in there. The bathrooms in the rooms are dated, with water stained ceilings and peeling wallpaper. The room also has a chemical smell, almost like a new shower curtain smell but not in a clean shower curtain way. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The pool looked great but was closed for maintenance. We were told we could sit outside on the pool deck though. We passed on that offer since it was 90 plus degrees. A functional pool would have been nice. I'm sure there are better hotels in the area. The location is great.

This wasn't a bad place to stay. The bed was really comfortable. We had a room facing the street so street noise was an issue when I was trying to sleep, but eventually I fell asleep and slept through the night. I'm not sure if it's pet friendly but I think there was an animal in our room. I have a really sensitive nose and I could faintly smell pet urine. The breakfast is not complimentary. There is a cafe downstairs. The food was good but it was expensive.

This hotel will steal your items. I accidentally left something in my room and called the hotel the same day and got the run around for five days. Then they finally told me that there was nothing they could do and to move on. Highly don't recommend staying here unless you are okay with not seeing your possessions again.

Absolutely nasty especially for the price paid. $329 later Horrible location for parking might add has to pay $28 as a guest. Remember breakfast is not included that's another $20+ $18 for god knows what. The hallways reeked of mold, weed, and cigarette smoke with a hint of vomit and piss. Once I arrived to my room the mold smell was awful. On the was a used soap bar on a plate. Stains all over the place as well as crusted food that you could tell the staff shoved under the bed. Not to include the crunchy bath towel we found under the sheets of the bed. Bodily fluids that were left on the couch in the room and on the little stand. Wouldn't be surprised if this place had camera's in it way to many random holes. The repair work was just amazing too. To bad they don't get a refund

Great hotel uptown. Taylor was awesome checking me in and Porsche rocks at the cafe. Was staying at another hotel the previous week and this one is a level above. Friendly service, nice cafe, clean room. Will stay here again! Thx!!

I am a Marriott Bonvoy cardholder and this was not good. Only stayed one night after the Panthers game. We got two rooms for our son and us. The restaurant wasn't open. Asked for extra pillows directly from the housekeeper in the hall, never received them. Then called housekeeping and never got a return call or pillows. Our grandson was in the second room with our son and daughter in law. No sheets for the pull out and again no pillows. The TV wouldn't stream because no internet. Called the front desk and they said they would send up the engineer but he never came up. This hotel gives Marriott a bad name. I wouldn't stay here again.

**CHECK YELP REVIEWS BEFORE YOU RESERVE** The 1 star is for the nice staff and how close it is to the BT&T building. The hotel gives such a terrible and horrifying experience. The hotel pictures seem like it was taken at the Marriott headquarter or something because the actual place seems so sad. There is no receptionist, no bell boy, the whole hotel is so quiet and scary. I always thought Marriott is somewhat 'fancy' but it actually gives a sad and chilly vibe once you go up the elevator. The hallway is so narrow and dim. Their room is small and there is no lights that turn on all the lights while the room is dark you have to go one by one to turn on the lights and it's not even bright..oh my god it creeps me out. The bedroom furniture is modern but when it comes to the restroom everything is so old and the flooring is all yellow. There is NO COMPLIMENTARY ANYTHING, no soap, lotion, shower cap, toothpaste, toothbrush, cup to rinse your mouth. Their coffee machine in the room is old dusted and broken. Their "market" is only 5-7 bags of chips and 2 cups of ice cream, there is NO ROOM SERVICE if you want to eat something you have to "catch" the kitchen that opens only 3 hours/day. YES. 3 hours! and they have only 4 choices in the menu of toast with some eggs...this is why I said everything about this hotel so sad. Coffee only sells 4 hours per day!! There are only 1-2 guests walk in-out. The room smelly if you pad the bed or pillow the smell of old clothes comes up so strong. I counted every single minute of my stay so I can check out....I should have checked the yelp reviews before. You don't feel relaxed you'll feel even more tired when you left the hotel than when you just came...sighhh #smh I WILL BE HONEST HERE. IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN, I WOULD STAY AT THE MOTEL INSTEAD OF 'THIS' MARRIOTT.
