Absolutely fantastic cocktails-very diverse options and made to order fresh. Had the Bison filet and was totally worth it! The steamed pork bao buns were delicious, as well as the charcuterie board!

Another exceptional experience at The Cellar. The ambiance, food and drink were fantastic. What always sets this establishment apart is the staff. So attentive, helpful and thoughtful. Front of house, bar and wait staff and management all wet above and beyond to give us a wonderful night.

Had three small plates and dessert. The waffle cones were particularly good, three different fillings, a nice mix of flavors, unique presentation. The berry plate dessert was outstanding. Service was average, even without considering they somehow didn't get our drink order in and after waiting quite a while for them the waiter had to come back and ask me again what I ordered. The ambience is nice, but it was so dark we (and others) had difficulty reading the menu.

The espresso martini is phenomenal, the service is phenomenal, and the food is stellar!! The burrata salad with watermelon was a revelation and the ribeye was the best steak I have had in a while!! I can't wait to go again for to try more!!

This place was excellent. We went for my husband's 30th birthday and both remarked that the ambiance reminded us of a cozy British pub. The food was outstanding and even my NA cocktail was delicious. Its definitely pricey but for a special occassion I would say its very worth it.

Now one of my favorite uptown Charlotte restaurants. Cool ambience with possible speakeasy history. Food is superior, pricey, but not unexpectedly so. Love the creative cocktail menu with good flavors but not trying to be too much--just well blended. The place for smoky old fashioneds. Server was friendly and attentive. Glad to see it was filled on a Sunday night by the time we left. Good post panthers game venue

Drinks and service were good. They are known for their steaks. It was the worst steak I have ever had. Not juicy and no flavor and not hot.

Excellent food and service!! We loved the atmosphere. Can't beat the short ribs candied Brussels sprouts and truffle fries.

Food was excellent. Our table had the blackened grouper, hamburger, cheese salad, and candied bacon. Wide variety of specialty cocktails. Wait staff was very attentive.

Favorite place to eat whenever I'm in Charlotte! The atmosphere, food, and service are always 10/10. Everything on the menu is phenomenal, but personal favorites are the truffle fries, filet, buratta salad, and brussels! Cocktails are amazing as well.

I planned a birthday dinner for my partner yesterday because we ate at the cellar at Duckworth's a few time before last time, our experience was alway very positive. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing last night. The drinks were mediocre, the salad was covered with salt crystals in addition to the very salty dressing, and the worst of all, the market priced fish (halibut) @ $52 was again covered with a thick layer of salt crystals. The manage was very responsive and he asked the kitchen to make a new fish dish to much less salt. We waited for a very long time (>20 minutes> to receive the fish dish, thank goodness it was not salty this time. Overall I think the food quality and the service were way below at this place now. Very disappointing...

Had the absolute best bartender! Short rib was insanely tough; uneatable. Bright side was the old fashioned.

Disappointing meal and experience. First off, when the server poured water in my water glass, I immediately got wet from water. The glass had a whole in it. Not the servers fault, but not a great start. I ordered a glass of wine and my boyfriend tried to order a beer. The server brought my glass of wine and it was the smallest pour I have ever seen. They were out of the beer my boyfriend ordered so he then ordered the same glass of wine that I did. His pour of wine was double the size of mine and tasted completely different. It was clear that I got the bottom of the bottle that had been opened for awhile. The server recognized this and brought me a new glass. Our appetizers came and they were okay. Chargrilled oysters and ceviche- nothing to write home about. After about 30 minutes later, the manager came over to let us that they brought one of our filets to the wrong table, so they had to remake our entrees. Another 30 minutes and we finally had our entrees. Both filets were completely over salted to the point they were inedible. I took two bites and could not finish it. The manager did compensate us for our poor experience and meals, but it was a very disappointing date night out. We will not be back.

The host was very nice and understanding when we were running a little behind our reservation time. The ambiance was nice but the restaurant was very loud. It was hard to have a conversation or hear our waiter. It's a great place if you want to hide and not be heard. They have a great drink menu with tasty options. The small plates were the best part. Steaks were cooked well but unevenly seasoned and not worth the price. The scallops were very salty. If you like salted foods, this is your place. The free birthday was a great touch! Overall, it was nice but not worth the value.
