I have been to this restaurant twice before and was very pleased but last night we weren't happy with the ribeye. Usually it is cooked perfect, but last night it wasn't prepared as we asked and it wasn't as good. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Greetings Team, I was very disappointed to learn that the six (6) scallops to accompany our steaks were $8 each. Shame on me for not asking our server as we were ordering and I won't make this mistake again. We always enjoy dining with you - and hope you'll take feedback in the spirit of partnership and coach your servers to be transparent in these situations. Worth adding, I would have tipped our server as if we had ordered drinks. I state just that in case the degree of up-charge ~ 50% cost of each steak comes as a surprise. Best, Kyle

Eric who is in upper management made sure that this experience was a great one. Our server Shelley also was incredible making sure that each step of our dining journey was excellent! This was certainly the quality that we are used to when visiting the Cellar.. thank you again Eric and to the Cellar management for making sure the experience remains top tier.

Went to the cellar with the family to celebrate my birthday. Food was good and enjoyed by all. The cocktails were also good. Would happily go back in the future.

Food was great as always ! Unfortunately my cocktail was knocked over on accident and i was still charged for it. Disappointing from a service standpoint, should have been covered by the bartender and a new one made. Ten minutes later I had to order another one and was charged for both. Not ok for that level of restaurant.

Strange upon check in. Bar was full and wanted a drink so the guy followed me back to make sure I didn't sit down. Creepy. Once we sat at the table was fine. Very unusual hostess and hosts at the check in. Need options to grab a cocktail while you wait.

What a gem! We came here while in town for a conference and so many people had told us to come here that we had to give it a try! The ambience is just what you would want out of a speakeasy! It’s downstairs in a true cellar, has a comforting smoky smell, and is dark, like a well kept secret! We sat at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation and loved this experience. Spencer was our bartender and was so helpful! He made great recommendations! I enjoyed a mocktail Mojito that he suggested and it was delicious and refreshing! I ordered the burger and it was so flavorful and juicy! The fries were well seasoned and hot too! My friend got the short ribs and was so pleased with her choice! We both had clean plates when we were done! Highly recommend if you’re in or around Charlotte!

Love the fact the cellar is in a basement so it has a great vibe. The cocktails are very good and there is a good selection. The food is delicious, you have to try the Waffle Cone Trio and the Ground Duck Flatbread. The lights are dim so reading the menu can be tough (but the cocktail menu is on an iPad, so no issues there) and it did get loud in there once the place filled up.

Such nice ambience, not too crowded on a Sunday night. Best steak I've had in a long time!

We loved the Cellar at Duckworth's. When we travel, we always try to find a local spot away from our hotel with good drinks and food. Most times, these spots are 'ok' to 'good' but the Cellar really blew us away. When they say 'craft cocktails with a speakeasy vibe' are their thing they are not kidding. Our drinks were perfectly balanced and spot on. Although the menu includes dishes other than steak, when you are in a place with a 1,200 degree steak broiler you go with the steak. My wife's tenderloin was great but the aged NY strip I ordered was mind blowing. If you are in Charlotte, I can't recommend it enough. Be prepared though, you are in a small (actual) cellar with brick walls so it gets a little loud but was not oppressive.
