In the basement at Duckworth’s. As a bartender from another city, I thought this was an elite bar program. The ambiance was on point. It smelled so good down there. Kind of oaky in a way.The menu was on a tablet, which I thought was pretty cool. They had their own creations, but put an emphasis on the classics and modern classics. They make these classics exactly how you’re supposed to.The bartender was very knowledgeable. I love a good boulevardier, so I ordered one. He suggested his own rendition with Suze and Cynar instead of Campari and sweet vermouth. It was EXCELLENT.Overall, we were so happy we stumbled upon this place.

We dined at the Cellar at Duckworth’s on Tryon tonight, and although it's been a while since my last visit, the exceptional food and service remain unchanged. Our meal included steak, candied bacon, Brussels sprouts, clams, and a salad, all enhanced with some delightful cocktails—a combination that's hard to top.

Great experience! It’s connected to duckworth, you just go downstairs. Small area but intimate & romantic. Wish there was more appetizing food options. The caprese was unique but a little too salty with the pecans plus added salt on the burrata.the cellar burger with fries was good & the dumplings were delicious. The server from a place near Ethiopia was amazing & so beautiful! Will love to be back!

Came in with a group of four for dinner with a reservation. The atmosphere of the resturant is very cool, and our server was very friendly. Overall, the main shortcoming is that the food quality and portion sizes just aren't worth the price, no matter the ambiance or service quality. We tried four sharables, and none of them were anything I would order again. The short rib gyoza was probably the best of the four, but it's a little too dry overall. The truffle mac was alright, but the pancetta flavor was overwhelming, and there wasn't much truffle flavor to it. I was looking forward to the brussles the most, but they were overwhelmingly balsamic flavored with no complexity. The risotto was probably the worst of the four dishes, the rice seemed undercooked. The dishes felt a little small for the price when you take quality into account. They did have a wide selection of Cocktails, and we all found something we liked and enjoyed. We still had a good evening, but next time I would skip the celler and look elsewhere to do drinks and shareables.

Step right up, folks, to the greatest show in town! The ambiance at this restaurant is so dazzling, it could make a clown cry tears of joy. But hold onto your hats, because when it comes to the food, it's like a rollercoaster ride straight to disappointment city! I ordered the risotto, but apparently, the chef thought al dente meant still swimming in the rice paddies. And don't even get me started on the truffle mac – it was like a whisper of truffle flavor lost in a sea of macaroni monotony. If you're looking for a culinary adventure, keep on walking, because this place is more like a gastronomic snooze-fest!

Not worth the money. The service was good but the food was meh. I ordered the scallops with risotto. The scallops were fine, but risotto was salty. My husband ordered the short ribs and although it was a good portion, it lacked flavor. He was really disappointed. The drinks were not bad, but nothing to rave about.

We absolutely adored our first experience here at Duckworth’s. The second you walk down the stairs it feels like walking back in time. The ambiance is so welcoming, there is amazing service, and the menu is incredibly accessible and tasty. It stays updated because it’s electronic which is awesome. I requested a sour drink and they did not disappoint. HUGE HUGE shoutout to our server, Gillian. She has an organic confidence that’s hard to come by, is very professional while also being extremely warm and personal —-and she knows her stuff. So easy to talk to and truly made our experience really special. We appreciate you Gillian!!
First time cellar visit was great. Has the speak easy vibe with a great selection of drinks and good service. We split three smaller plates: the PORK STEAM BUNS, BRUSSELS SPROUTS & BANDIED JALAPENO BACON FLATBREAD, and BURRATA CHEESE SALAD. All were great and enough to fill us up. Had the EAST VILLAGE for a cocktail and it was smooth. Would come back and try a main plate

Great atmosphere and bar. The bartender was lovely. The steak was a literal salt lick. It was cooked flawlessly but it tasted like the top of the salt shaker fell off while seasoning
