The Crust Pizza - ParkTowne Village

Wow! I have many words about how awesome The Crust is. My husband and I do not get to eat pizza often and pizza is my favorite. We have a gluten and dairy allergy so as you can imagine it is hard to find a place that accommodates both until we found The Crust. From the friendly staff to the amazing pizza we give this place a 5 out of 5. They even added a note to be extra cautious with our allergies. If you haven't been here before check them out and get treated like family.

Great staff with great food. By far our favorite pizza place we’ve ever been!

Made an order, called up and asked for anchovies on just one of the slices so I can try it out. Whoever answered the phone was nice and got my request. I got them in a cup instead all cold and brittle. Cant lie I feel disrespected… If it’s because the way they slice the pizza up, they could’ve at least just put it on a portion :/ idk. Not a good first experience from just ordering.

A classical feel pizza parlor with great service and okay pizza

We stopped in for dinner and got two 10' pizzas. Pepperoni and a Bacon. Both tasted fine but definitely different from your normal pie. The texture is great. They use provolobe for cheese so it doesnt taste like a normal NY pizza. For the pepperoni the cupped pepperoni was a highlight. The flavor of the overall pie was very generic and no notable flavors coming from the cheese, sauce, or crust. Bacon pizza was a bit better with the pesto and added feta cheese but still the crust flavor was bland.

This was my first time coming here and I was really excited to try the pizza, because I haven’t had a pizza as good as Edison in Cleveland Ohio as of yet. The staff were really friendly the dining space was a nice size with plenty of sitting. My husband really enjoyed his 10 inch pizza and he said it was good. Me on the other had, I ordered the vegetarian pizza and I must have missed removing the tomatoes off, when I replaced the mushrooms. The tomato sauce along with the tomatoes was real over powering that I couldn’t taste anything else, so my pizza was not good, that’s my fault for not paying attention. I would suggest either removing some of the tomatoes or taking them off completely. I could not taste anything but tomatoes. I tried eating 3 slices and that was it. I myself would not recommend that pizza, unless you create your own. The wedge chopped salad was good, even though it’s not really a chopped salad it is just really lettuce and toppings. When I normally get chopped salad it’s really chopped down to bite size pieces. The dressing was really really good. I will try back at a later date to get the cheese pizza.

I like the crust. It's unique, crisp, light and sturdy. Takes on a whole new meaning to crisp. Now, this crust isn't your traditional doughy bite; its kinda like Cheeze IT Snap'd crackers with a crunchy bite. The toppings really shine through as the pies are loaded with protien. My only disappointed was the limited amount of sauce or flavor. I could tell if it was due to the amount or lack of flavor. Either way, it was a good take on a pie.

Update: since first ordering a lot to now the quality has gone down, burnt pizza, not what we ordered on it, smaller sizes it’s just so sad to see one of our favs go down hill so fast….will be finding another pizza place soon.

OMGosh Pie! Our friend in Naples Fl always raved about The Crust being the best pizza and we were so exited to see one here, within walking distance too…she sent us a gift to go here for the first time and believe us if you want great pie GO HERE to get it! The most amazing pizza and we cant wait to try more! Some special people work here too, thank you Annie for helping us with our first order, we look forward to many, many more…Mad Park pay attention!✨?✨?

Pizza was good but not something that stands out. Their house-made ranch dressing was excellent. Small pizza for the price, but it is 2024.

We waited almost 45 minutes, for our food and booth pizzas were burnt. I ordered a salad that was awesome,and the meat balls were also very good. My wife said she would not go back there again.

Very happy with our first experience with The Crust Pizza! It’s hard to find good pizza joints that make amazing gluten-free pizzas to accommodate my Wife’s intolerance and my own quest for a wonderfully crispy crust. She had the veggie and I had the BBQ Chicken. All of that and a very reasonable price! Our server was great! We’ll be back soon!

I'm a sucker for a square-cut pizza and this was really good pizza! The crust wasn't quite as thin as I thought it would be and as I have had before, but it was still solid. I didn't find the crust all that special per se, so I'm not sure why it's named "The Crust," but the pizza as a whole was excellent and way above average compared to most of the pizzas I try. The atmosphere is very casual and I enjoyed the option to eat outside. The pizza was surprisingly hearty and high-quality, very well-made with a great-looking presentation. It was also pretty greasy, which not everyone may like. I'll definitely eat here again when I'm back in Charlotte.

This was my first time eating there. The pizza was great and so was the price. The service and atmosphere was great. I will definitely recommend this place and go back.
