One of my new favorite spots in NoDa. We love going here on Thursday nights after the gym for late night bites and great cocktails. Recently went to watch the Thursday Night Football game.
Great vibe which feels classy but casual, nice variety of food and unique dishes, and really nice craft cocktails - the cocktails on draft are so good and you can tell they have spent a lot of time perfecting their recipes!
Here the food and drinks are better than most high-end restaurants and everything else is always very good every time we go. It's been our default date night spot with no competition in sight for years for a reason. Those pierogis and the gnocchi are so good. We always have to get those.

You guys are killing it! Deviled Eggs, Scallops, NYC Falafel, and Churros, not a bad bite to be found (though they could've let the falafel cook just a wee bit longer). Our waitress, Sam, was an absolute delight, service was prompt, food was fresh, churros were 🔥 🔥 🔥, vibe was vibin,.

My son, his GF and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was beyond delightful! The food and the service were absolutely perfect, and the weather for sitting on the patio couldn't have been better. Our server (Samantha?) was spot on, sweet, and very helpful. We ordered the blintzes, Eggs Benedict with cheddar jalapeño grits, Turkish Eggs, and breakfast tacos with home fries and we split everything. We were all in food paradise for the next hour or so. I have never considered myself to be a blintzes person, but each bite was like a pillow of heavenly sweetness. When we got the check we were all shocked that it was only $65, as we all thought it would be over $100. I can't recommend this place more highly and I will return as often as I can!
My son, his girlfriend and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was absolutely delightful! The weather was perfect so we waited a bit to sit on the patio and my kid went next door to get us all specialty coffees, which the bartender had suggested since none of us drink alcohol. We ordered four entrees because I always order way more than I can actually eat, plus there are to go boxes! We got the blintzes, Eggs Benedict with cheddar jalapeño grits, breakfast tacos with home fries and Turkish Eggs and it was all so delicious. Our server (I think her name was Samantha? I feel so bad for not being certain of that!) was fantastic, as well, and we did order a few things based on what she recommended.
When the check came we were stunned that it was only $65, as we all thought it was going to be well over $100.
I will most definitely be back as often as I can make it here! L

First and last time! I ordered falafel which came with chip, hardly any humus or anything else. It was the worst falafel in my life. I don't understand why the chef or whoever cooked it had the nerve to serve it to a customer. They were burned on the outside and raw and mushy on the inside, tasteless and overall horrible. One of my friend's dish was so oversalted that he could not even eat it. If I was there alone I would've made them take it back and fire whoever made it. But my friends were totally against it so I just munched on chips and tomatoes. From the good revews one might think that it's actually a good place to eat. Not from my experience!

The Chicken Sandwich is phenomenal! The service is great and it’s a laid back dinner date spot. Nothing fancy but a simple date night is always good.
My wife loved the Blackened Salmon. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection.

We tried “The Degenerate” for the first time. The menu is unique and most dishes were very tasty. We especially liked their new scallop dish and then for dessert their fried bread pudding balls. Amazing! The deviled eggs were not our favorite with too much sour taste , but all else was good.
We loved that you can order a 4oz craft beer or cider to try for just $2.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Degenerate in Charlotte, North Carolina! The prices were fantastic, making it a great value for such high-quality food and drinks. Speaking of drinks, they were expertly crafted and delicious. I had the pork chop, and it was absolutely incredible – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The steak and gnocchi were also big hits with everyone at the table. The dining room is spacious and comfortable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our server was attentive and friendly, adding to the perfect evening. And if you have room for dessert, do yourself a favor and order the bread pudding balls – they are divine! I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Charlotte.
