I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion. Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal. For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. Will be back for sure!

We've never been disappointed at Fig Tree. The Sea Bass is the best we've ever had anywhere. But leave room for the Beignets - soooo good! The service is always excellent (thank you, Brandon). The wine/drink list is phenomenal. Truly one of our favorite places in Charlotte.

We had a group of eight people and everyone was very satisfied. I have a gluten allergy, and the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Leave room for dessert! I almost never order dessert, but the chocolate cake with ice cream did not disappoint! My friends enjoyed everything they ordered.

Appetizers were excellent escargot and octopus the entrees, the Halibut special risotto was gummy, asparagus was so over cooked it should never have been served, fish also over cooked. Lamb entree the lamb was beautiful piece of meet and cooked well but everything it was served and seasoned with over powered and did not enjoy. For the price the expectations are high and this did not deliver.

Our waiter was incredible. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was the real star. We had the burrata to start, the sea bass and lamb mains, and the strawberry shortcake cheesecake dessert. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant is upscale but I did not feel out of place in dark jeans and a sweater. Reservations are a must. I would definitely return.

The Fig Tree was beyond our expectations! Kyle was wonderful and made amazing recommendations! 11/10 experience, I would recommend to anyone for a special occasion or a nice night out!

The food and service were amazing! We had the Apple beggar's purse as an appetizer, I had the mushroom bisque with the sea bass and lobster entree, my husband had a Caesar salad with the elk entree, and we shared the beignets for dessert. Everything was incredible except the Caesar salad (it seemed like it had no dressing on it-I'm sure if we had asked they would have supplied us with more, but we did not bother). I was on the fence about getting beignets because it seemed like a boring choice, but they were so delicious and they come with a side of the best coffee icecream I've had in my life! It was a timelessly classic environment, and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more!

Since moving from NYC, my husband and I have been repeatedly disappointed with the restaurant scene in Charlotte. This restaurant gave us hope! The menu was well curated with thoughtful accompaniments, the ambience was gorgeous, and that waiter had amazing recommendations. The foie gras was one of the best exemplars of the dish we have tried, the scallop appetizer was flavorful and juicy, and the sea bass dish was just a masterful combination of flavors and textures. Desserts made by the in house pastry chef were delectable! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly delicious dining experience in Charlotte.

Chef Greg and the team always provide a top-level meal (been coming here for over 12 years) and the level of service just can't be beat. All tucked into a romantic bungalow with an insane wine list and cocktail program. What more do you need? Thanks for another amazing night.

Exceptional birthday dinner for six! Friendly and professional service; extra treats for the birthday guests. The sea bass, osso buco, filet, oyster special and foie grois were all exceptional. And the strawberry shortcake cheesecake? Superb!
