Ordered on line. After checking business hours. States open until 10 pm Sunday. Order at 7:25. Get a text confirmation that our order will be ready by 7:27. The store stops taking online orders at 8:59. Arrive to store front at 7:53. Nobody is there. I have tried calling and emailing and Instagram messaging multiple times to no answer. Would like my refund… bad business practice!! All it takes is to update hours which you will accept orders and adjust your business hours online. Will be sure to tell other friends (also originally from Rochester to just make their own plates at home) terrible service.

Ordered from the garbage truck twice now, online, and the truck hasn't been at the location. Asked the guy in the truck, when i did see it, for a refund or just to make me the food (showed the order numbers as proof). He said nope. Thanks guys! You lost another long time customer, hope it was worth it! Fraud is a great business model

Not quite like the original garbage plates but they are decent. Overpriced in my opinion, I believed I paid almost $18 for a garbage plate where in Rochester its about half that cost.It’s decent..

Me and my wife visited this food truck and the food was amazing, it was fresh, and packaged very nicely. We are from Rochester, NY and their food is better than the original. I highly recommend that people visit the restaurant or food truck, you will not be disappointed!

This place phone never is working even though they are open they never are once you reach the store. It’s so inconvenient and frustrating that you may not want to order or eat from this place again. I do not recommend this place at all

Should have come read the reviews first. Placed an order on Postmates 3 canceled drivers later we were advised that the location was closed and Postmates.

Terrible I placed an online order drove an hour to pick it up to find out it's closed. Online let me place the order, Google showed they were open. I paid $40 dollars and got NOTHING. Absolutely terrible and of course no way to get ahold of them for my money back. Called no answer left a message, I'm sure no one will call me back for the money so I get to dispute this with my bank and wait However long for my money back.

The service on their site to order and pay online is Chownow. After several hours of trying, Chownow couldn't reach The Garbage Can either but would try emailing?!I moved here from Rochester, NY last year, so very excited to find a restaurant that served garbage plates. Seriously disappointed, hungry and angry after spending most of my evening dealing with this and still unsure of when or what I have to do in order to get my $58 refunded!
