The Improper Pig @ Rea Farms

Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner we ordered! Staff helped me load to my car and it was ready when I arrived. The Turkey was smoked and my whole family loved it. The sides were very delicious as well, a lot better than what you get at the grocery store. I loved the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce the best. Tastes homemade and absolutely amazing!! Thank you!!

Update: I've updated my review as we were invited to come back, so we took them up in their offer. The brisket was excellent, enjoyed the Mac and cheese. Hubby got the BBQ sandwich and he enjoyed it as well.
I really appreciate IPP, STEPPING UP to show they care and the day we went was just an off day. They did say they have gone and hired new folks, so partially staffing.....Look forward to dinning with them again soon‼️

Wasn't impressed, got the brisket and it was quite fatty. My husband's chips were good.

I’ve eaten here a few times & it’s been ok at best! Today tho, everything tasted like it was cooked yesterday & was simply just dry!! Not sure why but definitely a waste of $40.

I worked with Rebecca from Stomp Chomp & Roll Catering and her team from Improper Pig to host lunch at an off-site corporate location in Charlotte. My colleagues, customers and I couldn't be happier. The food was delicious, the delivery was prompt and service was amazing. I didn't have to worry at all, especially since I live out of state, I was in good hands,
Rebecca and the Improper Pig team worked in unison to make sure everything was perfect. Oh, and did I mention the food was fabulous. We ordered the BBQ Buffet and were so pleased.
While our event was off site, I'm giving the atmosphere a 5-star rating also as I'm sure it has to be as great as the food and service were.

What a fun place to eat we was in town for a lung cancer event and a group of us decided to eat dinner here and it was amazing the staff was not only professional but they was fun as well which made the whole dining experience that much better then the food we all tried something different so we could share and get a little bit of everything and when I say everything was good I mean everything was good you can not go wrong with anything you order off this menu and the portions come hungry because they will fill you up I promise you will not leave hungry at all I hand down recommend you eat here we had the country represented in our group Washington state Indiana and Missouri so we all eat different style BBQ and we all loved this BBQ I have lung cancer and when we was leaving I wanted to buy one of their hats because 1 it was a awesome hat and nobody in Indiana will have one and to it was so good I want to advertise for them because once again it was such a fun experience from start to finish our waitress would not let me pay for the hat she insisted that I take it as a gift from them it was so sweet I will never forget this experience and if by chance I am ever back in Charlotte North Carolina I will 100% be stopping back at The Improper Pig to eat again you will not be disappointed eating here it's that amazing we all loved it and we can not thank this restaurant and it's staff enough for taking such good care of us and making it such a fun evening we all needed it after the couple of days we had dealing with our lung cancer 4 out of the 6 of us have lung cancer and this staff was amazing and didn't know till the end of the night anything about us they was just naturally fun they must really enjoy working there and their customers because it showed ???

Always consistent no matter which location you go to. The staff is always friendly and attentive. This time was just a quick stop...lunch for my 8 year old daughter. She loves the MAC & CHEESE and claims it's the BEST EVER! She knows what she's talking about. The House Made Apple Sauce should be packaged and sold. It is so smooth, thick and full of cinnamon. I had to order some for myself.

The atmosphere inside is adorable. The outside patio is perfect! The food is just alright. We got pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. The best thing I had was the hush puppy, singular, literally just one, with sweetened condensed milk. It was so delicious. But for just one hush puppy is crazy.

The chicken and brisket were pretty dry. The pulled pork was pretty good nothing crazy.

Service was nice and helpful. Had a dirty glass and they comp the drink so that was good.

All in all, expensive barbecue meat restaurant trying to be high class.

I have been here a few times and its always delicious. I love they have different flavors of the BBQ sauce. The mac & chz & pulled pork are my favorite. I highly recommend. The service has been super nice as well.

We had a great time tonight! Adam was amazing. He was nice and very professional. We sat inside at first but then went outside so the kids could have fun in the play area. He had no problem with us moving and made sure to checked in on us frequently. This was our first visit here but we will definitely come back. Thanks Adam!
