Pretty good Ice Cream spot with a solid amount of options and a nice staff.

Amazing ice cream 🍨

We mostly go for their non dairy flavors, which have been excellent. Always service with a smile. Very warm staff. Happily accept very generous Clipp certificates. Seating area is kind of utilitarian, but we don't go there to eat chairs. Their ice cream cannot be beat. They're right next to the open square facing Home Depot entrance in the Promenade. I have to get back there for more Coconut and Pina Colada.

I went here with my wife after work and I have to say I am very disappointed. My wife and I walked in and were not greeted, my wife had to initiate the greeting. While looking at the ice cream I saw that just about every flavor looked melted. Granted, it is 97 degrees today, but I expect my ice cream to be more solid than the product I was given. Its unfortunate to say I will not be returning to this establishment. Maybe get some better equipment so people can enjoy actual frozen ice cream on these brutally hot summer days.

I just left. I came for the first time and I sampled a few dairy free options. I was then told by the young lady that she’d “be back”. When she returned, she proceeded to serve a couple who came in after I did. She even made eye contact with me before she proceeded to serve them.

As a person who worked years in food service, that was horrible customer service.

Great ice cream! I feel like Charlotte lacks a solid local ice cream scene. In a sea of ColdStone and other chains, The Local Scoop stands out big time!

Emerson is very cool and beautiful and a great worker!! She is so pretty and has really long eyelashes. She scooped my ice cream so perfectly and gave great recommendations!! She is so pretty to visit her she rocks !

Ice cream was excellent! Employees were..unusual, but very friendly and helpful.

Parking: Parking is very unusual with the engled spots. Half pull in and half seem to back in. Good luck finding cars in the lines!
