The ice cream is homemade I bike here a lot the little shopping center is awesome and this is a highlight of it. Very pricey! But great customer service! The banana pudding is the best in my opinion!

The fam loves this ice cream place. A fun cow outside for pics and a grassy area and fountain across the way for the kids to run around on. It is such a great place to get an amazing treat and wear out the kids. ?

My sons took me to the local scoop. And we all had those large waffle cones and are choice of ice cream and it was awesome. While we were there more people came in so there was just a whole lot of people in there, just enjoying ice cream. It was delicious!.

Excellent ice cream. I am FODMAP sensitive and many foods with artificial ingredients cause digestive issues. I asked about their waffle cones and woman behind the counter was nice enough to show me the mix they use. I had strawberry and vanilla in a waffle cone and no issues! Wonderfull!

OMG.If you want nice service,good ice cream,lots of choices and smiles galore. Than you need to come to the local scoop.We go there all the time as a family and are never disiponted.As someone who has a lactose allergy going to get ice cream can just be a load of guilt but not her so many awesome dairy-free options.WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM ?Update:This places absolutely still the bee's knees, they always give such generous portions, and the employees are the absolute nicest, you will not find better ice cream around!

Great ice cream! Homemade waffle cones! Generous portions. They’ll make anything into a milkshake! The only downside is, they don’t have chocolate malts.

I go by this place all the time, and finally was able to go inside to try. It's a small ice cream shop located in a shared shopping center. There is plenty of shared parking. The staff are friendly. They have a whole case of dairy free options, which is amazing. I was able to try the peanut colada and the lemon lime basil ended up getting them in the lime basil which was a nice treat. Some of the toppings you desire may be in the back. The prices are a little bit steep. Will definitely come back and try again another day. Hope you enjoy.

The Local Scoop was a great experience for a sweet treat after lunch. We got the Blondie and Dutch Chocolate, and highly recommend Blondie. They’ve both cups and cones available. The staff is polite and there’s seating area available inside as well. Parking is available outside.We will be back to try more of their flavours.
