2022 Update: Covid and construction has really put a damper on the offerings from Mayobird. They moved to a pickup window location and have cut out all hot dishes. I hope they are able to set up in a full location again soon but for now be aware that the ancho ranch dipping sauce, soups, and any other hot offerings they used to have are not available (really missing the chicken salad melt!) BUT the chicken salads they sell are still the best anywhere.2018: Love this place and...
Stumbled upon the new location for coffee one morning and it is hands down the best coffee we’ve had in Charlotte. We grabbed a curry chicken salad as well and it was incredible! Seriously make time for a stop here, the staff is amazing!
We got this as a choice for work lunch one day and wow! So good! One of the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had! I got the harvest one. Has grapes & walnuts. Yum. Great flavor, nice & whipped consistency. I’ll be going again for sure! Simple menu, but don’t be deceived, it’s delicious if you love chicken salad. They have many different flavor combos to choose from!
