Ace was absolutely incredible as our sever tonight! He was very knowledgeable about literally everything on the menu. We started with loaded baked potato to start with, then mojo and cookie butter crunch to end the evening! We got to celebrate a special occasion this evening with our in-laws and Ace even was in on the celebration with us congratulating us. Truly an unforgettable experience. We will be back!! And hope to have Ace again!

Have gone here at least twice a year for over 30 years. Always go around 6pm and make reservations well in advance. For the first time in 30 years we were told they do not do parties of 6 between 4pm and 7:30pm! Which we have done DOZENS of times over the years!! I guess all traditions must come to an end .

Not sure what happened to the cheese, but we sent back the alpine (which we've had before years back and loved) and barely touched the replacement cheddar. You heard that right - we sent back cheese at a fondue restaurant, got a different kind and we all still hated it. Literally only tasted garlic, no cheese flavor at all. The waiter put an entire 4oz ramekin of minced garlic in the REPLACEMENT cheddar cheese, and this was only for three people! Who uses that much garlic?
To put this in context, my daughter turned her nose up at not one, but two different cheese dishes! And this is a typical kid that lives for Mac and cheese and grilled cheeses. That's how bad it was. Here I am after the chocolate (which was fine) and two hours later and I still only taste garlic. Such a disappointment. I'm sure we will be back for the chocolate, but never for the cheese unless I can make it myself. It was gross.
On a brighter note I will say I appreciate the birthday card from the staff and the special birthday message written in chocolate! Super special, definitely going out of their way there. If not for that extra mile from the staff, I would have given a lower score.

There are so many great restaurants in Charlotte, but I choose to come here for my birthday every year. There is something about the whole "cooking" experience that really makes my husband and I enjoy the dinner/have conversations I feel like we might skip if we were somewhere else. It's more intimate and a perfect special date night out. I cannot rave about Ace enough! He was so attentive, personable, and really helped to make my birthday evening that much better! Oh, and ask for Bananas Foster for the chocolate - they light it on fire at the table....I don't know why they ever removed it from the menu!

The dining experience is incredible. The staff is attentive and kind and make a great experience. We went to celebrate my birthday and I was surprised with chocolate covered strawberries with handwritten Happy Birthday in chocolate! We enjoyed the classic alpine cheese fondue and an off menu Bananas Foster Chocolate fondue. It was INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth a try and it gets flambéed! The creamy chocolate and the flambéed bananas were delicious. Everything was paired with the outstanding holiday special toasted marshmallow S’mores espresso martini and a modern old fashioned. This is a wonderful place, please come check it out! Everything was so good we forgot pics of the cheese and chocolate but here is reference for drinks and the strawberry!

Great food and service, we were attended to well. The atmosphere was not exceptional but good regardless.
Parking: I arrived when they opened and had no trouble with parking, however I did notice drivers looking for spots later that evening.

This place is a nice spot for date night. We had dinner outside, which was beautiful and intimate. We had many choices which catered to a unique experience. I went with the surf and turf. I had duck instead of chicken. The appetizer was delicious. Desserts were great, and the waitor was immaculate with the wine suggestions for each course. Also, a nice place for a birthday dinner or simply because you want an "upscale" fondue experience. We spent a little over two hours there. Great food and atmosphere.
