Staff was very friendly.
Price is pretty reasonable.
Been coming to roasting company for like 30 years for the squash caserole.
It was not bad but it def was not like it used to be. Needed salt and was not the same consistency I remember. That could be the squashs they use just are not as good. Not bad but different for sure

I last went to Roco’s previous location and loved the food a lot but that was like 2 years ago. We were finally nearby the one in Montfort and was excited to try. And man the food is not the same. Mac n cheese was runny, collard greens no flavor and squash casserole which I literally came for was totally different texture and taste. Only the chicken was the same and roco sauce. And even worse everything but the chicken was cold down to the almost burnt cornbread. Even the ice machine barely produced ice. I mean this place disappointed on many levels on top of spending $70 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Unfortunately won’t be back. If you loved the old roco just go somewhere else lol.

Disappointed. Been coming here for years. Things are different today.
Chicken salad was mushy and wet. Very different than what ive had there for years. Bun was not an onion bun like years past nor toasted. Ranch was not homeade like usual.

I would look forward to my Chicken salad sandwich. Not anymore.

food is always delicious, service is friendly, and the food comes out fast. This has been a favorite spot for years. never disappoints.

My fiance and I drove here from uptown to eat. I called at 2pm and was told last call was at 3:30, and they close at 4. We drove here and walked in at 2:35 and nobody said hi to us so we sat at the bar. The bartender did not tell us until after pouring our beers that they were no longer serving wings, fries, or stir fry, and that they were packing and cleaning the kitchen. We wish we would have not gotten those drinks because we wanted to eat and we get its 4th of July but we called so we left our drinks half full after paying. We both work at a restaurant that closed today, so if you want to be closed thats cool but don’t say a time when we call and not give us the options we wanted. So disappointed by bartender being stand offish & not feeling welcomed.

What a delicious find in Charlotte along with being a great value. I tried the chicken and black bean combo which comes with two sides and cornbread. Everything was tasty and such a generous portion, it was my lunch the next day. Their squash casserole was like your grandma made it. And the black eyed peas were delicious as well. As new residents of Charlotte, this will be one of our comfort food spots.

This is some good chicken… Trust me , I know good chicken according to my black dna. My grandfather was studied chickenology for many years. This recipe here brings joy upon my face. The Chicken Gods are proud
