Been here a few times. I use to visit this place after the early stages of Covid… food was always on point. I came here last Monday for a lunch date with my boyfriend and we got the Presto Pizza ?… ? ? ?. It was so good. The service was good and atmosphere was just as good as the pizza. Keep up the good work. It’s definitely a pizzeria must have when in the Pineville area of Charlotte.

My family and I came here for lunch and it was great! My daughter and I got pizzas, while the boys got stromboli and a meatball sub. Everything was fantastic, and we'll definitely be back.

Brought my 16yo daughter here after her finals at he end of semester. This is now are spot. We got a basket of fries and personal pizza pies; hers is pesto sauce chicken, spinach and bacon and I ordered the cheese steak D light off the specialty pies menu. The fries are hand cut and went well on both pizza pies! Our server took great care to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The Rusty Onion is a relaxed and casual place for anyone hungry to grab a meal or a drink. This place is among my favorites in Charlotte and has been added to my collection called "CLT neighborhood bars and restaurants". Thanks!

It just a great place to relax. We are not from Charlotte and just happened to fine this place. They treated us as we have been going there forever. Service and staff are awsome. Can't go wrong. When back in town we will definitely be at the Rusty Onion !

Had driven by with intent to stop for a long time. Glad I finally did. Was in a hurry, so didn't get to savor the experience, but food was top shelf and service friendly and quick. Pizza other diners had looked really good. Definitely on the list for a repeat visit when I'm in the area!

Have to update you, their pizza is really yummy. My new place for pizza. They deliver in a 5 mile radius and the pizzas look really good. I had the chicken parm with angel hair pasta, it was good but if you like extra garlic you should ask for it, loved the salad too. I will definitely come back. Next time I will ask for Gina as she seemed to be a good server, my server was ok but green. After dinner I went to the bar for a beer cause I didn't like nor drink my sauvignon blanc that wasn't on the menu yet. The bartender Meredith was fantastic, I might just sit at the bar next time. She makes you feel at home. I had to raise the service a star just for her. Thanks Meredith.***RECOMMENDED***
Went there for lunch today and had the buffalo chicken salad. If your a fan of buffalo flavor, you won't be disappointed. Romaine, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and onion. Paired with ranch dressing or whatever dressing you like. Really good.

During an 8 month stay in Charlotte, I frequently found myself with a few hours to kill in the evening and the Rusty Onion was a great place to do that. The bar area was often filled with regulars who clearly have known each other for years yet were always welcoming to a new visitor. It very much had a "Cheers" kind of vibe (although - for the life of me - I can't quite remember anyone's name! LOL). Great food (my favorite was the Popeye Salad) and nice environment. Whenever I am back in Charlotte I will certainly go back to Rusty Onion for a visit.).

Local pizza bar with good variety of specialty pizzas and the ability to build your own. Several shot flavors and mixes, also a full bar. Whenever I visit Charlotte again this will be my pizza spot to fulfill my pizza craving lol

Hot carnivores pizza was awsome, chicken tenders were moist and big portion. Wait Staff at bar was fantastic. There is music bingo on Wednesday nights. Overall a great dining experience on Carmel road. Merideth was a great ambassador behind the bar. Come and enjoy a great lunch or dinner.
