I came on a Saturday afternoon and they had about half of their donut varieties left. I ended up trying the cinnamon honey bun donut and a lemon ricotta donut, alongside an iced latte drink.
The coffee came first and took about 5 minutes to prepare, and then the donuts were brought out a couple minutes afterward.
There is plenty of indoor seating and the interior is aesthetically modern and fun. The staff is friendly as well.
I really liked the honey cinnamon donut, it was soft and fresh. I wish the cinnamon flavor was a little stronger but overall a good donut. 8/10.
The coffee was good, not too sweet but the espresso was recognizable. It balanced well with the very sweet donuts. 8/10.
Overall would definitely visit again and try more of their offerings :)

Why was my bag ripped it was ants built up inside my donut! Thats bizarre.. I didnt even get an bite before ants started coming out. The shop had roaches and it smelt bad and rotten. The lady was rude handing me the bag and charged me 50 cents extra. Needs remodeling never going back.

First time here, and unfortunately, it was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced — and I’m from LA. The cashier looked completely over it, mind you it's 11am like she didn’t want to be there at all. (Very long eyelash extensions) didn't offer a receipt. They got my order wrong, and when I politely said, “Oh, it’s supposed to be a matcha!” I got no response. I waited, they called my name again with the correct order, I thanked them… and got a dry “Have a good day.”
If you’re going to have an open-concept space and be a morning spot, you need staff who can actually function in that setting.
The good: donuts are good, coffee too. Matcha isn’t amazing but still one of the better ones in Charlotte. Everything bagel is different — not bad, just different.
The weird: there was a person probably a manager standing between two visibly miserable employees who seemed to have beef with each other? Or maybe with the customers? Who knows. But if their job is to observe they should also correct when customer service is clearly lacking
All in all wouldn't patron again, the first experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was so beyond expressed with this cute spot.
We ran in for a quick pick me up to get out of the rain. It was almost closing time.
The staff didn’t mind one bit.
I had an original glazed doughnut that was probably one of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had!
I also ordered a Banana Cold Foam Matcha latte. The barista took so much time measuring everything out to perfection.
The drink was incredible. Honestly I was so sad it was gone.

I have celiac so I appreciate that you provide one gluten free choice but could you please change it up? I'm tired of the chocolate. Also hope the cookies on top are gluten free! Would two gluten free donuts work or perhaps do seasonal?
