One of the worst airports in the US!!!
Gates are always changing last minute. So much construction. Delays everywhere. Moving up flight times without warning. 30 min walk from a terminal to e! No movers working! Super short layovers no matter how much planning goes into it!
In short: they seriously suck and a layover hub and it’s high time they convert to a regional airport bc they cannot handle the volume.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
have flown threw Charlotte twice now, different vacations and many years apart and both times had 2 hour delays. had to deboard the plane both times. and to top it off this last time, they for some reason loaded our checked bag onto a different flight?? didnt say anything or give any heads up. if i didnt have the American airlines app im not sure I would have even known? no explanation either when i asked after. now i have to wait for ALL MY BELONGINGS to be delivered. piss poor...read full review
