This place was such a cute, smaller, modern out of the way place. Jeff and the rest of the staff were great, we were made to feel like friends visiting. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back in the spring to see what new items we can try.

Overall, my time here felt comfortable. The setting was quiet, and the process felt familiar. No complaints.

Our experience at TT Friday night was outstanding!! We came with friends and shared LOTS of the small plates, even ordering two of them twice. Everything we got was flavorful and so good, and prices were very reasonable for such great food. Service was great too.

Hidden gem in Oakhurst...Went in a couple days before Christmas and was informed they were only doing a $75 holiday prix fixe dinner menu. I was a little skeptical of the price based on my previous dining experience there.

However, I was BLOWN AWAY. Each course was delicious and artistically prepared. This was one of the best meals I've had in Charlotte and hope they keep these choices on the regular menu year-round.

Great intimate atmosphere and drink selection too! Highly recommend!

It’s delicious, every time.
It’s amazing how little known this place is, Michelin style food, for a very low price. Plus, good wine.

Learned you can also get their chef to come to your home or venue and cook for you privately as a couple, or a large group. Amazing. Will take them up on that soon.

It was inventive and surprising while still being approachable. Loved the variety and ability to share a bunch of dishes. Everything was thoughtfully constructed and blended things well. I usually dislike blue cheese but their polenta made me reconsider that perspective. Amazing, knowledgeable service and wonderful food and cocktails. Thank you for a great experience.

The food here is incredible from start to finish, including the desserts. Every bite was full of flavor and left us excited to visit again. It is such a pleasant surprise to find a place this creative inside a regular shopping mall. The menu is filled with dishes that show real talent and imagination. The desserts are made fresh in-house and taste amazing. Without a doubt, one of the best dining spots in Charlotte with a chef who truly knows their craft.

We have tried this restaurant three times now, hoping each visit would be better than the last, but unfortunately, our experiences have been consistently underwhelming. The food and service have both been mediocre, and each time we have noticed the staff spending more time chatting at the bar than attending to guests.
We really wanted to love this place because several of our friends do, but it just has not met our expectations. During our most recent visit, it took quite a while to receive our drinks at the start of the meal. We ordered two appetizers and received only one after waiting more than 20 minutes, even though the restaurant was not busy. When we asked about the second, our server mentioned he had not heard the order.
We decided to ask for the check and leave at that point. For the price, many other Charlotte restaurants offer a higher level of service and food quality. I hope the management takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve, because the restaurant has potential. It just needs more attention to service and consistency to make it worth returning.

We had an amazing experience this past Friday. We are always looking for local restaurants and the menu looked different at The teal turnip. It was a bit of a drive for us but worth it. Jeff was fantastic and we also had opportunity to meet the Chef aswell.

The Teak Turnip is one of our go-to spots for date night. The atmosphere is perfect for dinner with your significant other or a group of friends. The cocktail menu is exquisite and obviously very well-thought out. The food is not only delicious, but also very instagram-worthy.

Expect small plates and a seasonal menu. The Teal Turnip utilizes in-season produce that is crafted to complement their extensive wine selection. The service is always top-notch as well.

Overall, this is some of, if not the best food I’ve had in Charlotte. Each time I try something new here, my mind is blown. Definitely worth checking out!

This restaurant is fantastic! The chefs that own it are super funny and must put all their heart and soul into it. It shows. So many options for any diet restrictions, allergies, vegan, vegetarian, celiac, etc. They take it seriously! So accommodating! And for any meat eaters they have every protein you could ask for. And the menu changes seasonally so there's always new dishes to try. My favorite is the lamb, rabbit and lobster but everything I've had has been phenomenal. I will always be back to support this small business. Apparently they have a chefs table experience in the kitchen I was super jealous of when I was there last. And if you didn't know they cater off site events too!
Wow, they do it all!

The kind of establishment that makes me wish I lived in Charlotte. Reggie, the man of trades, was awesome. When I'm back visiting I will be back. Do not be fooled by the name. Plenty of meat as well as vegan choices. And everything I had exceeded expectations. The thought that went into the cocktails as well as entrees is obvious. Easy recommend! Cheers!

Nice spot - and the service was great. Food was overpriced for what it was. Crab dip was a salt lick, truffle fries were ok-ish. Meatballs were overcooked with burnt crostini - the sauce tasted like it came from a hospital cafeteria. Tuna was on point. But overall, not hitting the balance point in taste for what they’re trying to be. Hopefully they get there in time. Will probably stop back in the future to see.

Again, nice place but at this point you’re trying to be something and you’re not getting there with the food. Service is right there - they are on point.
