We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks so much!! One of the owners came out to serve us and was very nice, knowledgeable and ready to educate us on the menu and drink menu. Everything was very clean and inviting. I give them 5 stars and will be returning when we are back in town!!

First time visitor today, and my wife and I were really impressed with the quality of the food, service, and the cocktails we had. The freshness of the ingredients was immediately apparent in everything we ate and drank. It was a special occasion and we splurged a little bit, don’t regret it at all. Desserts were awesome! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Trust me, you will enjoy your experience at The Teal Turnip.

This restaurant isn't particularly geared towards children, but due to the slow pace, they were unable to resist the incredible food enthusiast and critic, Amani Solstice. The cuisine was exceptional and the service was outstanding. The jerk chicken was bursting with flavor, and the red bean mash was a delightful first experience. The meatballs were satisfying, paired perfectly with truffle fries. And yes to dessert! The chef even prepared a delicious gluten-free option for me. I adored the ambiance; it was truly a special experience!

I have been in several times now for different menus and everything I’ve ever had has been on point. You can tell the chefs take making creative but delicious food seriously. I love how they play with flavors. I typically sit at the bar and the bartender is always friendly and makes excellent recommendations. Just make sure you save room for that brownie! I tell everyone I can about this place and I’ve loved watching them grow since they’ve opened. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll see you for dinner soon!

10’s across the board. Stopped in for lunch and had the “MLT” which was amazing, my cocktail was exceptionally good. Ended up getting the red velvet brownie dessert as well that was out of this world! Couldn’t recommend this place more- it’s a definite for me any time I visit Charlotte now?

Stopped in for lunch. Ended up ordering a mocktail and the teal turnip signature cocktail. One of us ordered the MLT (mutton!) and it was phenomenal! I had the Harvest grain salad and was encouraged to add blackened salmon (cooked to perfection!). Highly recommend!

If I could give this place a 10 star I would. The food was fresh. each dish had its own unique twists and flavor. The staff was friendly. And the drinks complimented the food well. My photos do not do the food justice.

I’ve no idea how this restaurant doesn’t have a solid 5 rating on Google. It’s easily one of the best and a personal favorite across the Queen City and I’ve lived here for decades. The waitstaff was delightful, the owner charming and the food incredible! I will be bringing all friends and family here as often as I can!

The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and stylish. The service is amazing, and the food is impressive—all at great prices. Highly recommended!

My wife and I just had a lunch here, the food was very flavorful. This is the best kept secret in the Oakhurst community off of Monroe Road. The staff was extremely nice and very informative about the dishes being served. We'll most definitely be back...

Excellent food. Great wait staff who explained food choices and was there when we needed her to be. It is more on the tappas style so portions are not huge. But SO GOOD!
