We had such a great experience! 10/10 across the board. Taylor and Kai just blew us away with their hospitality. The shrimp dish flavors were amazing. Also the truffle Mac omgggg. Love that so much is sourced locally. We will be back asap !!
Six friends had a great evening at the Chef’s Table. Excellent food, and the evening was “MC’d” by Taylor herself. The wine pairings were very appropriate. We’ll return!
Amazing and well priced. Fight me in the parking lot if you disagree!
I mean, if you're ok with a waiter wearing a tank top and shorts with the nearest beach 2 hours away, you may like it.
Let me start by saying we were excited to try this restaurant. We arrived at 5:01 and no one was seated in the restaurant , however we were denied service because of there no children after 5 policy. Which we knew nothing about. Our newborn was sound asleep in the car seat. After seeing the woman owner make a face about us with a child trying to eat at her restaurant and looking around at the place … obviously we didn’t miss anything. Terrible policy and poor excuse for a restaurant. Zero stars
We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks so much!! One of the owners came out to serve us and was very nice, knowledgeable and ready to educate us on the menu and drink menu. Everything was very clean and inviting. I give them 5 stars and will be returning when we are back in town!!
Nice quiet smaller place with comfortable atmosphere. Chef's lunch special was amazing. Service was fantastic.
From the minute you walk in the door everything is amazing. The server made the atmosphere fun and inviting, the food was incredible and the drinks perfect. My only complaint is that the perfect evening had to end. Well done Teal Turnip!!
First time, came for lunch. Waitress was very pleasant and witty. Food was spot on. And French press coffee..superb. I'll definitely be back.
Very nice staff and wounderful food...Will go and offen.

The Teal Turnip seeks to be an upscale dining experience for the laidback customer and it succeeds.
It’s a gorgeous, ambient restaurant tucked in the corner of a commercial plaza in Charlotte’s Oakhurst neighborhood. They offer dining room, bar, and Chef’s Table dining.
I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy a Chef’s Table experience for media and I’ve dined at the bar on my own. Service is top-tier. They treat everyone like family or a close personal friend and, honestly, it feels good to eat somewhere where people are excited to see you and want you to have a good time.
The food and cocktails are exceptional. Taylor and Steve do not hold back on imaginative dishes with unique flavor profiles, although there are some classic dishes on the menu. This is intended to be a space where you do something different than you’ve always done — there are no chicken tenders on the menu!
One of my favorite dishes are the Cahones - delicious ground brisket meatballs with smoky maple bourbon bbq sauce and sliced crusty bread. It’s always on the menu! Speaking of the menu, it changes five times a year, so it gives you the opportunity to try in an array of creative dishes.
It’s just your cozy neighborhood bar with an elevated feel!
Stopped by here from out of town, my gf and I will absolutely be coming back! The food was phenomenal! Everything we tried was fantastic. Then our wonderful server Reggie told us the menu changes multiple times throughout the year. So definitely worth stopping by and seeing what the head chef has created!
Now a favorite! Love the food, cocktails, and purpose.
Great food, great Atmosphere and wonderful Staff
Had dinner with foodie family visiting from Portland Oregon and octogenarian parents. Great evening for all. Food and drinks were delicious. Reggie took great care of us with great knowledge of the restaurant menu and suggestions based on our group.
