I’ve purchased 6 or 7 chicken pot pies made by this company from a local kiosk over the past year or so, and each time I do, the amount of chicken in each pie is less and less. The quality of ingredients is top-notch. I’m not here to dispute that fact. However, for a $32 “chicken” pot pie to only have trace amounts of chicken, is unacceptable. I’ve essentially been paying for pie crust and vegetables. While I appreciate what this company does and the fresh ingredients used, it’s pretty sad to pay a premium price for such a subpar product.

Found the most delicious vegan veggie pot pie at the Charlotte farmers market! The owner was so friendly and it was so good! Terrific flavor! I was visiting but if I lived nearby this would be on my regular rotation of favorite foods.

I highly recommend and will definitely purchase their products again myself in the future! They offer quiches with hash brown crusts for those looking for gluten free options.

Purchased the Chorizo & egg individual quiche in two styles at the Charlotte Regional Farmer’s Market. One style was a traditional pastry crust which was nicely flaky around the border. The egg & chorizo filling was cooked very well and very flavorful. The other version was identical except for the crust, which was a hash brown crust which was a great idea. Customer service was very good… no pressure, happy to answer any questions, and included clear instructions for hearing on every box, and reasonable prices. I would definitely buy again and look forward to trying more of Thoughtful Baking’s products.
