Best enchiladas & refried beans I’ve ever had. Great burritos too. I’ve been coming for over 7yrs now. Fresh ingredients & incredible flavors. Love this place!
This is an awesome restaurant! Get the nachos!
Here's is an update to my last update! When you read my review below, i only had a complaint about the strength of the margarita. The restaurant reached out to me to offer another margarita on the house. I accepted and this time it was fantastic! I'll really appreciate a restaurant that takes the customers concerns seriously! I'll be back soon!
This is an update to my original review. We visited this evening. The food was really good but the margaritas tasted like there was no alcohol in it. At $10.95, that's quite expensive for a weak margarita! Will i go back, yes, but for the food, not the margaritas!
It's been awhile since I've been here. In the past they were hit and miss on the flavor of their food. This time was excellent! They also have a new menu since I've been there. Hopefully they stay on top of their game. I'll post another review when i go back to see if they stay consistent. ...
Review of Three Amigos Mexican Grill & Cantina
I’m heartbroken to write this review, as I’ve spent over 25 years in the restaurant industry myself. I know firsthand how tough each day can be, the stress, and the relentless demands that everyone faces. But I’m sharing this because I want others to feel safe, respected, and cared for when they choose a place to eat—something I did not feel during my visit to Three Amigos Mexican Grill & Cantina.
To start, the waitress was wonderful. She kept an eye on my table and made sure my iced tea was always refilled, even though the tea itself was a bit watered down. I ordered one of my favorite Mexican dishes—chicken chimichangas. I was so looking forward to that crispy tortilla and the warmth of freshly cooked rice. But the tortilla was soft, lacking the crunch that makes a chimichanga special, and the rice tasted old, like it had been reheated one too many times.
The real disappointment, though, came from observing the bartender, a Latino man with a dark beard, who brought my food. I greeted him in Spanish out of friendliness, but he chose to respond in English. I was fine with that, but what really caught my attention—and raised alarm—was watching him handle the trash bin without gloves, push it around, and then go directly to stack plates for takeout orders without washing his hands. He even sat down on a stool with his phone, never once stopping to clean his hands.
It’s hard to describe the mix of feelings I had when I started feeling sick almost immediately after my meal. Here I am, someone who rarely complains because I understand the struggles of this business, but what happened next was so alarming. Three hours later, I’m still battling stomach issues and had to pull over at several places to use the restroom. I even ended up vomiting in a Food Lion parking lot on my way home. To make matters worse, I missed an important client meeting—one I’d been looking forward to.
Dining at a restaurant should feel safe, almost like visiting a doctor. We put our trust in the hands of the people who prepare our food, and that trust should be respected and protected. It hurts me to say it, but this experience was deeply disappointing, and it’s left me feeling let down in a way I didn’t expect. I hope this serves as a reminder of how important care, cleanliness, and respect for customers truly are.
Visiting from out of town and dropped in for a bite. The mixed fajitas was pretty good. Really enjoyed the empanadas. Nice atmosphere with seating available on the patio.

Food to go ✔️. Girl at the bar ringing up my food ❌ didn't give me back my full change which is unlawful and took her time to take my order cuz she was more committed to her phone than her actual job. Friday 09/20/24

Bad service, I spent 10 minutes waiting at the table and they didn't even offer me water. All the attention is for white people, it's not their fault. I don't recommend it to Hispanics.

There are three Mexican restaurants near me. I could walk to any one of them within about ten minutes, but instead I get in my car and drive for twice as long to go to Three Amigos. It's well worth it.

I got the birria tacos and these are the best birria tacos I've had!! Super flavorful meat, perfect amount of cheese, and the birria broth was perfect! The chips and salsa are really good too. The chips are like seasoned or something, definitely has flavor.

First of all, I love the food here. I’ve been coming here for decades. However, of recent it seems like you hardly get any protein with your order anymore. Specifically, I ordered a ground beef burrito with a little onion. As you can see, just how little ground beef is in the burrito. Now they’re also adding filler in the burrito (potatoes) and in the rice. I just wish they would stop and just go back to doing what made me love this place. I feel like a paid almost $20 for rice and potatoes. Secondly, the lady who answered the phone to take my order was quite rude. Something I have never experienced at 3A before. When I tried calling back because she cut me off in the middle of my sentence, no one would answer the phone again not mention I drive at least 35 minutes to this place. Dissatisfied Customer 7/28/24
