First time at this Topgolf location! The golf? Always five stars, love it - never an issue. The food? Just bar food vibes - good, but overpriced for what it is. Tried asking to mix wing flavors, couldn’t, which is fine, rules are rules. Service was sweet, atmosphere nice, though our front TV was off when we started - should’ve been set up beforehand.
Overall, still a fun spot for a date, birthday, or group hang. Just know you’ll spend a little extra on food, but it’s worth it for the vibes and golf.

We’ve visited the University location three or four times now, and each visit has honestly been a different experience. Our very first trip was for a holiday party and it was fantastic—great customer service, fun atmosphere, really top-notch all around. But each visit after that has noticeably declined, and this most recent one was rough.
When we arrived, we waited quite a while to receive our booth number. There was a long line at check-in—even though we completed everything online beforehand—which left us standing around without much guidance. Once we finally got our stall number, we headed over, set up our game, and started looking around for food and drinks. That’s when things really went downhill.
The servers were actively avoiding eye contact—I’m seriously not exaggerating. After waiting close to 30 minutes with no one stopping by, I finally went to the bar to ask if someone could come take our order. When a server eventually arrived, she was new (which was totally fine), but our tickets got mixed up and it turned checkout into a whole ordeal since we were trying to split the bill with friends.
Drinks were slow and disappointing. My spicy margarita was extremely watered down, and it took about 15 minutes just to get our drinks. Friends had wine and beer with the same delays. On top of that, the bathroom was in pretty rough shape and clearly needed cleaning and restocking.
When the bills finally came, we somehow had four separate slips between us with no explanation. It was confusing trying to figure out which charges belonged to who. We did speak with a manager, but in the end we wound up fixing the mix-up ourselves because the receipts were so disorganized.
I’m not sure if the issues are from short staffing, new management, or something else, but the experience has definitely taken a turn from what it used to be. It has seen better days, and I hope they can get things back on track.

Terrible experience! First served cold fries with RAW jalapenos on it. Then subpar sandwiches and pizza. The wait time was so bad, we had to extend our time so we could eat terribly. The poor girl that was waiting on us got overwhelmed. Things started strong and fell flat. Love the facility but poorly ran.

This was my first time visiting while on vacation, and unfortunately the management at this location is in serious need of improvement. The managers were unprofessional, did not lead by example, and did not seem to support their team well. It was disappointing to see because there were a few staff members who were genuinely kind and hardworking, but their efforts get overshadowed by the lack of proper leadership. This location would benefit greatly from new management.

Birthday party with two bays ($550). Ordered food at 6:20 got it at 7:30 and order was wrong. Had to talk to 2 servers and mangers to get it brought out. Walked to the bar to get my own drink 3 times. Take a chance hope your luck was better than mine. This is the university location, Charlotte NC.
