The ambiance was good, the service was great, and the place looked very upscale. The food was good but not worth the price. We had the ravioli pasta and the chocolate torte.
Again, Toscana didn't disappoint. It's been my favorite restaurant for a few decades and it's still the first place I think when I want great food and great service. 10/10
Outstanding experience, as has been the case with all of the Conte restaurants for the 30+ years that we've been loyal patrons. We at on their beautiful outdoor patio, which is the best in all of Charlotte.
Excellent Restaurant in the Southpark area. Owner is always there and taking care of everyone like family.
Toscana is the perfect blend of great service and wonderful traditional Italian food! Works well for family dinners all the way to relaxed private dining. Great place...the fact that it is tucked away within the South Park Specialty Shops area makes it a true CLT standard.
Always a fantastic experience. The food is cravable for sure. One of our fav spots in charlotte!
Toscana has been a favorite for a long time. As always, the food and service was fantastic.
Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meal. All food was delicious (especially the Mare), the wait staff was courteous and friendly and we all had a great experience. Love this restaurant!
The small setting was nice & the service was excellent. It would be nice to see. One or two vegan options other than just noodles & red sauce.
Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were not seated until 8:20 after asking the hostess several times when we could expect to be seated. I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years. The food is always great. Service is good as well. Bartender made the wait bearable. She was excellent. I felt “lost in the shuffle” —not the usual for a restaurant of this quality. Really no apologies offered.

We used to love this restaurant. This time service was awful with the exception of the bartender and younger wait staff. My husband and I waited for over 15 minutes once seated at our table for anyone to come over to our table and even bring us water. Things just got worse from there. Eventually, Chafik, one of the owners, did come over to our table and begrudgingly took our drink orders. He brought the two glasses of wine that we ordered to our table and threw his arm in front of my face as I was talking to my husband in order to put my glass down in front of me... Round two: When I commented to Chafik that there weren't many white wines by the glass on the menu the response was “What do you want?” accompanied by a foot stomp, a stare down and crossed arms....hardly a customer focused/friendly attitude. My husband and I couldn't believe what was happening... Chafik returned later and asked “Do you know what you want? We ordered the daily salad special to share. This was then followed by a long pause in service. When the extremely nice bartender saw us looking around the room for a server to order our dinner she came to our table and took our dinner order herself after it became apparent that no one had taken our order. (There was only one 2 top behind us that was occupied inside the restaurant at the time). My husband had the Mare which he enjoyed. I had the daily seafood risotto special. It was not worth the $49 plus price tag. (A friend who had come in earlier ordered the same special and had two lobster tail halves, scallops, etc.. on his plate). When my dinner arrived there was only one lobster tail half and a small claw piece, with 4 scallops that were overcooked on one side and not seared at all on the opposite side. The risotto had the consistency of a “wild rice” not creamy as a risotto would normally be. Had it not been my husband's Birthday dinner we would have paid the bill prior to ordering the salad and left. Won't return anytime soon.
I love it here. The patio feels like a mini trip to Tuscany, the vibes are unmatched, and the food is always a perfect 10/10. I'm obsessed with the carpaccio, carbonara, and filet mignon. The dessert always slaps. Excellent wine selection. Best Italian spot around!
Before going... I read the menu - gnocchi - potato dumpling, red sauce, mozzarella and basil. Usually that means... red sauce would be the most prominent- it was all cheese. It was cheese with potatoes... but the cheese was so thick... there was no sauce. It was gross! I asked to have it redone - with red sauce - what came out was watered down Jon flavor and it cost $30. Never going back again.
As always we had a wonderful dinner outside on the patio with our family. Ryan, as always, took such good care of us! And the Jackie/Ginger martini's were fantastic as usual!
Wonderful restaurant! Food exceptional. Ordered the special with lobster and crabmeat over angel hair pasta and buttera entrees. Also had Bruschetta and salad with walnuts really good. Ordered the wine recommended by server (#140- cab sat, and it was just what we needed with our meal ). Had a great table, although very noisy inside, patio looked wonderful. We were celebrating anniversary and were greeted with a card at our table and given a complimentary dessert. Thank you Toscana! Highly recommend this restaurant. We will come back.
