I have been coming here for years. Always get the Hibachi Steak & Chicken, sub zucchini for mushrooms. Best shrimp sauce. I have never been disappointed. This is one of my go-to takeout spots and they never miss with the food. They do a few things, they do it incredibly well, they have it ready incredibly quickly, and they never overlook or forget a substitution if you ask for one.
I live out of state and was looking forward to enjoying a meal from Toyama while in town the weekend following Thanksgiving. Their Google page said they were open, so I went out of my way to drive there, only to discover they were closed for the weekend. Super disappointing, I was looking forward to eating here! Other Japanese takeout restaurants in the area don't compare, not even close. Maybe next time!
