I recently came to Charlotte for the Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert and stayed at the Omni hotel where Trade Bar is located. I was pleasantly surprised. After traveling all morning then wanting to take a nap before the show we chose to just dine-in versus having to walk or uber some place. It wasn’t busy so we sat down right away. The bartender/waitress(sorry I forgot her name, really nice black lady with dreads) was prompt in bringing over menus and getting our drink order. We got the 24 Karat cocktails then ordered the Queen club with fries and chicken wings. The food was pretty darn good. Ive eaten at several hotels and the food is often bland and you can tell its prepackaged and warmed up but not at Trade Bar. The fries came out fresh, the portions were good(I took the other half of my sandwich and ate it after the show) and the wings had some Carolina dry rub on them that was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced as well. I have no complaints, may even go back before leaving. (Also sorry I don’t have photos. Didn’t plan on writing this review)

First time attending and wasn't disappointed with the food and service. The valentine's day special was worth the money but it was a great experience with it. The service was top notch and very accommodating. My lady enjoyed as well as I for a special day of love ❤️

Well, as it turns out this is not a restaurant but a bar. There is no table service. You can order from the bar, and they will bring food to your table, but it is self serve other than that. The bartender was embarrassed to tell us that it actually is not a restaurant and we were more or less on our own.

I made a reservation since we were driving 2 hrs to come to concert. When we got to the restaurant they said there's only bar seating and the dining room was not open so my reservation was basically non-existent. So we walked around for 45 min trying to find a restaurant.

The female bartender wouldn’t look at me the whole time so I had to wait for her to make eye contact with my husband. Really antiquated and unexpected for us living In modern times.

Female bartender would not make eye contact with me and would only attend to my husband. If I wanted something, I had to ask him to help. Really irritating and unprofessional.
It's a nice place and the food is delicious but the service is a bit slow in my opinion.

Had a great late lunch. The bar area was very busy (holiday weekend) and they were still very accommodating.. came back later to live music and a drink before the NYE festivities..fun weekend, greats food, and stellar service
