I was in the area with my friend and we decided to have lunch here. I'm so happy we chose this place because we were really satisfied with our food. I was a bit surprised that they weren't at all busy for the lunch rush, but even better for us! The ambiance gives industrial vibes with exposed beer kegs, but very nice and clean. The menu is simple and straight to the point, which I appreciate. I ordered the seasonal sangria, which was absolutely delicious! 100/10 For my lunch I ordered the BBQ platter, which came with chicken breast pieces, pork chunks, and BBQ ribs with Mac n cheese as my side. I really was surprised that the Mac n cheese was as good as it was. It was really flavorful, cheesy, and just simply yummy! The meats were okay, nothing to ride home about. The chicken was my least favorite, it was a bit bland and thin. There were pickles on the tray as well. Those were some of the best pickles I've ever had! They could sell those in a jar.. I'd def come back to try more cocktails and other items on the menu. My friends brisket grilled cheese sandwich looked so delicious, and she said it was. So I'm going to try that on my next trip!

Great atmosphere, the wait staff was very attentive. Spacious restaurant with many food options. Brunch standout - the biscuits. Make sure you order the spicy honey jelly - game changer.

Second time at Trolley Barn did not disappoint!! First time for brunch here, sat right away inside (outside was full because it was so nice out). The hostess was the sweetest woman ever. Server was nice too. My brisket hash and eggs was really yummy! Had a nice spice kick to it. I wish there was a little more brisket in it, majority of bites didn't have any. My friend loved her steak huevos rancheros bowl! Half of the bowl was cabbage, which was interesting. Definitely too much cabbage, but she still loved the taste!

We went for happy hour and the ambiance, food, drinks & service were delightful. 2 days later and we're still talking about the pretzel. Be prepared if you have a big group, however, that outside you can't move and push tables together, so 9 of us crowded around a table meant for 6 with a ton of empty tables all around. Despite that, would still come back with a group!

I had a visitor in town who likes beer, so I took him to Trolley so he could try the beer flight. It was midday so not a lot of foot traffic, open seating at the bar. Things went left when the bartender inquired who would be consuming the beer that my visitor (male) ordered. I personally do not drink beer, but when I have visitors, this is one of the MANY places in NC I'll take them too. My visitor explained I may take a sip or two but the flight would be for him. The bartender asks to see MY identification, but didn't ask for my visitor's identification. So I asked back "....So,....you just want MY ID?" Bartender: "yes, if you'll be having some of the beer as well". Me: "oh I see, so you don't want his, just mine got it". Bartender: "Well if I could see both of yours that'd be great". Too late buster. If you card ONE person, you need to card everyone. That's not rocket science. And I would call any establishment out whomever does that to me. It's unprofessional, it comes across biased, and it's simply not good customer service. I'm never bringing anyone to this establishment ever again. There's so many other places to patronize for beer. It's North Carolina.

Great place or “Fermentory” and it was wonderful to visit with family at that venue! Meals are prepared well and have great flavor profiles. Paired with their craft beers or other adult-beverages, it made for a perfect dinner!

Phenomenal service, Ian was our server and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato paired with the espresso martini was heavenly and decadent. 10/10 and I highly recommend them!
