Tropical Cafe

I had the absolute WORST experience today with an online order and this location. I called almost 5x to pick up my order and to review the status after checking in on the app for curbside however the “manager” Kenny was picking upthe phone and frustrated that I was calling and kept disconnecting the call. After calling back a FOURTH time he eventually answers and yells “I DONT SEE YOUR CAR HERE YOU ARENT HERE! When you get here I’ll send someone out with your order!!” I told him NOT to get disrespectful and at this point I wanted a refund. He says fine and hangs up on me again. So then I come inside the restaurant to confront him and he doesn’t want to give me a refund or his name. I spent an entire lunch break and an HOUR attempting to just place and pick up an order!! Literally an hour later (after making a complaint with corporate) he has one of his “friends” call my cellphone blocked… wouldn’t give his name and said “This store is individually owned and corporate won’t do anything about your complaint. You don’t have to come back to the store.” Then he hung up as well. I simply made reviews on all of their social media and made a complaint with the BBB. After reading other reviews it’s obvious it’s THEIR management at this location. I will continue taking my dollar at establishments where it matters. (Side note: They wouldn’t refund my order so I will be disputing with my bank for fraudulent charges ?)

added an allergen to our shake and refused to remake or reimburse. so sad as we were a frequent customer.
