We had a great time! Everyone liked the food! We had a large party and the accommodations were great! The decor was great!
The food is always incredible. Eggs Benedict should always be made with avocado and feta!
I always have a great experience at Tupelo Honey Cafe. I love the fried green tomatoes. It’s my favorite appetizer. And I love the original chicken and waffles. I also love their shrimp and grits. It was my first time taking my boyfriend. He wasn’t a fan of the loaded cracklins (too much sauce). But he loved the fried green tomatoes and chicken and waffles. I would only recommend using more peach purée in the Mimosas. Make it truly peachy.

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is a restaurant known for its delicious food and friendly, courteous staff who strive to make guests feel attended to even during busy times. The outdoor patio offers a nice option for good weather, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The menu features popular dishes like fried green tomatoes, avocado toast, and a mimosa flight, which receive positive feedback. Customers also recommend the shrimp and grits, sweet potato pancake, and the hi Ken and waffle. Many guests appreciate the exceptional, friendly, and accommodating staff. However, experiences with service can vary. Some have faced long wait times for drinks, bills, and food, with service sometimes being slow or inattentive, especially when the restaurant isn't busy. Several guests have noted frustrations with long waits for appetizers, and some have found their food order to be less than expected, such as the Cobb salad with shrimp that came with small, overcooked shrimp. Despite these issues, many diners enjoy the vibe and menu offerings. One group noted that they had a fun experience with dishes like the southern chicken blt and whiskey & onion smash burgers, and they found everything tasty to the last bite. Overall, Tupelo Honey remains a popular spot in Charlotte for its tasty dishes and warm vibe, although there are occasional concerns about service and noise levels.
