Service was slow. I was surprised with the slow service since there were not many customers

Alia took good care of us and the food was outstanding! The sweet potato pancakes, chorizo sausage and biscuits are our favorites and that is why we keep coming back. The decor is imaginative.

Great place to eat at I had their sweet potatoes pancakes with bacon! Herbal tea options I chose chamomile with honey very delightful

I've been to one other Tupelo Honey and I enjoyed this location more. The food was amazing and the portions were large. Our waitress was excellent and attentive. The kitchen made a mistake with our order and she corrected it for us.... and we didn't even know that there was an error. We really appreciated her attentiveness.

I guess it depends on the location. In Myrtle Beach we had a great experience. In Columbia SC it was so so and in Charlotte service was horrible. Food is pretty consistent. Love the fried green tomatoes! Our last visit was in Charlotte. Our server was awful. I ordered a beer and didn't get. I asked for small plates for shared appetizers, she didn't come back. I asked another server passing by and he immediately got us some plates and retrieved my beer which was apparently sitting at the bar. My wife ordered soup and then ordered fried chicken. She asked if the soup could be considered her side and was told, absolutely. When the bill came I noticed we were charged separately for the soup. I called the server back and pointed this out. She said because my wife ordered the soup first, the charge was listed separately. ???? We asked for a manager who then straightened it out.

We have visit this restaurant several time in the past with good experience, but on the 1st of 2026 the server experience was the the worse we ever received. No silverware on the table , table not really clean and the server taking time to take our order, since we already knew what we wanted. We sat at the table for at the least 35 (thirty five) minutes without her saying anything about our order, or acknowledging us at all so we got up and left, we spoke to the manger who was apologetic and nice. We did not get the name of the server or the manger. We felt the server had an attitude of "So What". It only take one associate to destroy a business. My wife and I have the attitude that we do not bey people to take our monies.

Just very loud happening spot..very busy and had to cancel 2nd round of drinks. Vegan so not much of a foodie just visiting from florida...its in the middle of everything downtown

I was with a woman I am absolutely crazy about. And thought she would enjoy dining here. I was 100% accurate. She loved it too. Can a restaurant be a wing man🤔

The food was so yummy! Our waitress Cam was amazingly kind, informative and good at her job! She very much enhanced our experience. The shrimp and grits is EVERYTHING!

I visit Tupelo Honey weekly and have generally had great experiences, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. When a particular manager was on site (the tall gentleman with short hair), the service felt noticeably disorganized and unaccommodating.

As a solo diner, I was quoted a wait time of 1 hour and 47 minutes, which felt completely unreasonable—especially given that there were clearly open tables at the bar and additional tables that were unserviced at the time.

I value this restaurant and its staff, but the inconsistency in management and how solo guests are handled needs attention. I hope this is addressed, as it doesn’t reflect the experience I’ve come to expect as a regular customer.
