The wings were very good and tasty. The French fries were good also and the staff was very nice. Prices are reasonable.

The garlic parmesan wings are great, very flavorful. Collard greens delicious and savory. The oxtail is also always fall off the bone tender. Very friendly service when you enter as well.

I just walked in after a doctor's appointment because I was hungry. Let me tell you how AMAZING the customer service is (I haven't even eaten the food yet lol). The worker was by herself and was an amazing host. She helped me order from the menu as this is my first time visiting. She was so polite to a little child who accidentally spilled his juice. She immediately went to help the family clean up the spill and said "it's ok, I have uh-oh's sometimes too" with a smile on her face. Then she came back behind the counter to finish taking my order and apologized for my wait. She greeted every guest with a smile as they came in. She was very warm and welcoming. Stop by and experience it for yourself.UPDATE: The fries and wings taste GREAT!!! The only thing I would change is ask for them to be fried extra crispy next time.

Wings were cooked nice and crispy. I ordered from inside and waited in the dining area equipped with a TV. Good enough wings that I'll be back.

This was my first time ordering at Ty's Wings. I did not get wings, I ordered a veggie plate with macaroni & cheese, fries okra, and collard greens. I placed an order over the phone and the associate was very patient with me due to my first time ordering. I was unsure of what to get and he explained the menu to me and insured me to take my time to think on what to get. That made me feel comfortable. The food was ready within 15 mins Upon arrival, there was a spacious and busy parking lot. This area gets a lot of business but there was a parking spot for me in the front of the building. The restaurant was very neat, clean, and organized. I received napkins and plastic utensils with my order. I was very pleased with the service and food :)

Ordered wings with a side of rice n peas , plantain & beef patties. Everything was delicious. Honey BBQ wings were on point. Hot wings weren't overly spicy...they could've been spicier. Rice n peas is not traditional Jamaican rice n peas. It's rice with guandules (pigeon peas). Overall would definitely recommend.

I love love love this place. Their j*** wings are amazing! And I don't know if it's new or I just overlooked it but the fried cauliflower was amazing! I seriously could just order a big batch of that and be so happy! Their oxtails are delish too! This place is a must try!
Tried this place and had mixed feelings from reading the previous reviews but decided to give it a try. We order the large oxtail entree with macaroni and cheese and rice and peas; 10 wing appetizer half Hennessy and half J**** and a 10 wing entree plain with double fries. The macaroni was nothing spectacular in my opinion. Nothing in it stood out to me or would make me reorder. The oxtails were good even though it was a different twist to the normalJamaican oxtails that I am use to. The peas and rice was ok but the rice was a bit over cooked. Once the gravy from the oxtails was mixed with it, it was enjoyable. The Mixed wings both were a no for me. They both had a burnt grill taste and it seemed sauce was just thrown on them. The sauce again to me was super plain so wouldn't order. The plain wings were very tasty and seasoned well. All in all it's an ok mom and pop shop but just certain things on the menu is a hit or miss.

This was my first go at the place and going off the ratings I was expecting a delicious dinner. Well I was wrong the meal was a tasteless BBQ. I ordered the j*** chicken, greens and rice...along with a beef patties and coco bread. Out of my entire meal the rice was the only thing with season. Luckily I have sauce at my crib so I could enjoy my meal and not feel too bad about wasting my money.

Friendly service. Food is always good. We have been here many times... we live on n the west coast, and ever time we come to or through Charlotte, we stop. The way msg are always an excellent choice. I think we have had everything, it's been great every time.
