This place was a discovery for me... we came in by chance and were completely pleasantly surprised. Excellent and fast service, polite, helpful staff, delicious cuisine and atmosphere. And all this is right in the very center of the city. I recommend it.

It's a Small place with plenty of seating, but minimal space to walk around. Be aware that it is loud if the place is full. The staff is all very fast to greet and serve you, and the drinks are tasty and served in good time. I had the shrimp tacos, and fries, both were delicious good and a good size helping. Also Moderately priced.

Wandering around downtown Charlotte, I popped in here for a beer break. I didn't try the food as I had just eaten BUT I did overhear a few tables say how good the wings were. Beer was quality and mainly local brews (love that) but what stood out was the service. The crew of two on the bar, also handled the floor perfectly and stayed upbeat and friendly throughout the afternoon. As a tourist to town, they gave me some local advice, walked me through the local beer selection, and overall we're just good humans. The place plays fun music at a good level, has a good 'dive-style' ambiance (non pretentious), and based on the locals in the space...a good following. Check it out...it's a simple but great space to escape to.

Went here to have a drink and snack while taking pictures around the city. We sat down and took unreasonably long for the rude server / bartender to come over. When we ordered a drink one of us was denied because the ID didnt look real. Its a SC DMV issued ID. wish she tried to keep it truly to show her she is wrong.

Came here on a Monday night for a dinner date with my boyfriend. We had the blueberry bbq wings and the trip dip appetizer (both fantastic - the pimento cheese ? ? ?). I will definitely be back.

Bartender was on point the night of a concert, he looked to be serving the tables as well as the bar, would stop in anytime.

Go for the drinks, they have some awesome options. Do NOT go for the food. Spent 50 bucks on the worst fish and chips, meatball sub, and sprite (the sprite was fine obviously lol).

Fantastic pub in Uptown. The food is solid and the selection of beers is impressive. The fish and chips are some of the best I’ve had in CLT. If you’re a Liverpool FC fan this place televises the games inside and in the alley. It’s a great pregame spot as well.

Had the pretzels and pimento cheese followed by a Buffalo chicken salad. Excellent flavor and reasonably priced. A great little spot. Ask for Carson
