Cool ambiance but food was terrible. Super bland tomato sauce. Skip it with some many good options nearby.

Nice cool place in pricey uptown. Typical food fare, pasta, pizza the norm. I had the shrimp Alfredo. Very bland. The bartender was spot on with service. I'd go back for the vibe and drinks.

First visit for us & it was awesome! We got the Garlic Ricotta Dip & Carbonara - both were absolutely delicious! Carbonara is by far my favorite pasta & it’s hard to find a good one. I loved that this one had onion in it - gave it awesome flavor! Even better than the food was our server, Blake. He was so friendly & helpful! Plus, our food came out super quickly! Can’t wait to come back!Kid-friendliness: Awesome high chairs & friendly staff!

TWAN WAS THE BEST! So attentive, patient, and kind. He doublechecked to make sure everything was perfect before submitting our order. We were in town for a conference but Bella Ciao is a place I’m familiar with. Their casual vibe leads one to believe that their food is basic. LIES! The food is an amazing way to grab some fast Italian without going to an authentic Italian restaurant. Also, don’t be fooled by the lunch menu— the portions are still HEALTHY! We said “if this is the lunch size I think we could have shared the dinner size.”I ordered the pesto pasta and added shrimp because DUH! My sisters ordered pizza and a creamy pasta with bacon. We all ordered salad as well. The citrus salad dressing was amazing.Everything was absolutely delicious. I wished that I could have tried the non-creamy pesto sauce but I don’t think I ordered it right! No problem, I was hungry so I probably wasn’t thinking straight— AND IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS!

Food was fine. Adding shrimp is a massive rip-off though. $7 for 5 small fried shrimp. Ridiculous.

Came from out of town after some friends recommended it and I loved it. We got the Taco Pasta with Campanelle noodles, American Pizza, Bruschetta, and Pene Vodka everything was really good. Steven  helped us out with the menu, very nice looking restaurant too. will definitely come back

I ordered to go and the salad had hard old cheese and the whole thing could fit in my hand. The pizza crust didn't look cooked well, was cold and tasted bland. It wasn't worth the money I paid the driver did but I'll never try this place again. I expected more from the CIA.

First time here and absolutely loved it! We enjoyed a Calzone and Chicken, (added) Shrimp Linguine The regular Caesar salad was sharable for two. Dessert was the best in a long time! We had Banana split. Our Waitress was Arsy. She was very accommodating. She assured her table was covered while she handled other tasks.

Nice place with an open and modern feel. The pizza was good, but the tiramisu was even better. The service was fast and attentive.

We ended up here because we were hungry, and it was almost 10pm on a Sunday after seeing a show at the Belk Theater. The good: Service was friendly and pretty fast. There's a ton of indoor seating as well as some outside on the street. It's one of the only uptown dine-in options open late on a Sunday night. The blah: The food was not great, and the high prices weren't justified. The pesto chicken calzone we ordered was burnt. It came with a side of marinara, which helped get it down, but just barely. And this cost $17. The arrabiata pasta, which was described as spicy, was not very spicy at all. It was just penne & sauce, which you can make at home for a couple dollars, and here it cost $15. This place is fine if you're starving and have no other options. If you DO have options - or can wait until you get home - that's what I'd recommend.

Nice place, very friendly staff. Food was ok. But they included a dish we never ordered into the check, and I discovered it only later. It was only 6 positions in the check, hard to mess it up. Quite

Was told a 30 mins wait despite half of the restaurant is empty so we sat at the bar. The worst pasta I’ve ever eaten. The cheese is so fake that made the whole dish taste rubbery and like plastic. The shaved Parmesan on top of the Caesar salad taste straight like plastic. I have no idea where they even find this low quality cheese from. This is truly unbelievable that they even have patrons.
