Makenzie was amazing!!! I had a good time, coffee was great and food and atmosphere was great. Wishing it was a lot more people helping on the floor but Makenzie did amazing at getting all the tables done, and helping customers when needed.

Vavela serves an amazing chicken pesto sandwich! I’m telling you if you have it you’ll be hooked! Every time I’ve gone in there it looks like everybody at the table has the same sandwich! They have an amazing vanilla latte as well! Honestly, I don’t think that you can go wrong with anything here!

I love this place and I usually come a couple times a month, but with my last experience I had waited 20 minutes for 3 items and every person who ordered after me got their food before me. My sandwich was slightly warm as it was sitting there for quite some time before they noticed I was the only person there waiting leaving me very disappointed.

Love the food coffees paninis and salad 10/10 BUT one thing I absolutely dislike is the seating arrangement the amount of times we had to go back coz it was full and there’s five chairs only person sitting with their laptop lol and for hours, I understand people want to work and it’s not about them, vavela owner please can you guys change their seating arrangement? Today I was there and atleast three to four people just sitting occupying space for five people on their Laptops, please I come here a lot with my friends and family all I’m asking is fix the seatings. Have two person or four person seating and have tables where u can join them to make one or separate them if there’s more people so everyone can sit, I love the environment the food makes me feel closer to home the interior is so so nice and relaxed I love it this is the only thing that bothers me a lot. No hate only love ❤️ 🙏😇🥹

Great Middle Eastern coffee spot. The coffee is rich and flavorful, the kunafa is fresh and perfectly sweet, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Everything here is done right. Definitely a must-visit whenever I’m in the area.

I absolutely loved everything I tried here. The mango peach refresher was so refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the Dubai chocolate frappuccino was rich and indulgent — definitely a must-try. The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious and full of flavor, and to top it all off, the Vavela Kunafa was simply awesome — crispy, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great drinks, food, and desserts in a cozy atmosphere!

This is a cute Turkish coffee shop in University District. The atmosphere is warm and elegant. There are people sitting at almost every single table even in the evening, so you may have to wait around to get a seat or share the table with other people. I like that they have different items on the menu including salad, drinks, and desserts, so you have a lot of options. I think the drinks and food are a bit too sweet to my taste. But overall it's a nice place to hang out in the Charlotte area.

I got the Pastrami and Swiss with a ice-cream lava cake, it was all delicious and I also had a bite of my dad's avocado toast (I don't like avocado toast) but this avocado toast was incredible and I will order it the next time I come.
