I was charged $35.00 for 2 brisket tacos. I told them gentlemen before I paid. He laughed and said yes. I looked at my receipts and I had been charged for 2 brisket tacos and 2 brisket nachos. He called Gary to fix it. I stood there for about 10 minutes and still did not get a refund. He proceeded to tell me that something was wrong and that he would contact his manager and that someone would reach out to me in a few minutes about my refund. I still haven't heard anything hours later. First time I had tried this place and I don't plan on going back.

Horrible customer service. You guys have a queue system and claim food is ready but still waiting over 10 minutes and you want to cop an attitude with customers. If your manager is the one wearing the dress shirt you guys need to teach him how to talk to your customers

Went there and they didn't have a bunch of stuff that was in their menu and they didn't have flour tortillas. I said corn tortillas would be fine and when I received my tacos the corn tortillas were so cold, stiff, and uncooked. I took one bite and rhe entire tortilla fell apart. Never again.

I could say so many positive things about my experience here. I have to start off with Gary, he was so nice, attentive, personable, and funny. Although we were present to order food he made an intense effort to connect with us. He provided great suggestions with detailed information regarding the various options. To compliment our amazing experience the tacos were to die for. They were well seasoned, fresh, and all the ingredients worked well together. We ordered the chicken and waffles tacos which was sweet/salty, the chicken was fried to perfection, and the waffle shell was perfect. Also ordered the fiesta shrimp which was also great! Highly highly recommend we look forward to returning and seeing Gary soon!

The optimist hall location gives this company a bad reputation. My entire order was wrong twice. I got the cauliflower tacos and they were drenched in hot sauce. Employees don’t change gloves at all and there’s a major health concern for cross contamination. Employees will wear the same gloves to take orders go and get produce and to take orders. Will not be returning to this location.

The steak and chicken tacos were good! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is lively and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth a try and they have some desserts we were too full to taste. Lots of options for vegan, vegetarian to full meat eaters!
Food was great, but was ruined by the incredibly rude staff member taking orders (pink/red hair, female). She sat on her phone at the counter scrolling, was clearly annoyed that she had guests in line needing to place orders, was short, rude and overall and unpleasant experience.

Preface: I didn’t get to eat what I ordered. We got two tacos. They came in the same small box. My partners had avocado on it, which I’m very allergic to. Because his was touching mine, I asked them to remake it. My original order was beer battered cauliflower and was garnished with carrots and parsley. I received a new order of unknown meat, tomatoes, and corn. I’m just really confused and should have read the reviews first. I think almost all of the complaints would be solved by them writing down our orders and doing one box per meal, not one box for two. Just… why.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered 4 small tacos and some chips and waited over an hour watching other people behind us get their order. At this point, being 7 months pregnant, I tell my husband to cancel the order and get a refund to go somewhere else. The girl at the front had no idea how to refund so she said her manager was on the way. At this point I finally get a notification that the food is ready. SHOCKER, it wasn’t. The manager said he didn’t know the system and couldn’t give a refund or was still trying to figure it out. Needless to say, I’m still hungry, and on my way home to make food. Never been so disappointed with a restaurant, $40 I will never get back…having worked in the food industry and someone who still works in customer service I give a lot of empathy and I never write bad reviews but this was unacceptable, there’s no reason we shouldn’t have been refunded.
