I’ve been coming here almost weekly for about a year. The staff has always been friendly, and the service was quick, with everything made fresh to order. Unfortunately, since around mid-June 2025, the experience has started to decline.
The food quality is still great if you’re able to get served. Lately, when I show up around 11:30 AM, the front door has been locked, the soda machine is turned off, and the garbage cans have signs on them saying “Closed,” which is strange.
It seems the restaurant is now prioritizing catering orders, which has led to long delays for walk-in customers. What used to be a 5-minute wait has become a 15–30 minute wait or more. Today, my group of three waited 22 minutes to be served, and we were the only ones who received food during the 45 minutes we were there. Others walked out, and they eventually stopped taking new orders entirely.
To make matters worse, the staff appeared frustrated that people were coming in during lunch hours expecting service. If large catering orders are your focus now, that’s fine but you need to staff accordingly or communicate those changes more clearly. Otherwise, you risk losing your regular customers.
Waiting over 20 minutes for two Mexicali tacos just isn’t worth it. After being met with locked doors and long delays three times in the past month, we’ve decided not to return. It’s disappointing to see such a great spot go downhill so quickly.

What impressed me most was the huge variety of vegetarian options—finally, a place that treats veggie tacos like a main event and not an afterthought. But if you're into meat, don’t worry—they’ve got plenty of juicy, delicious non-veg picks too.
Right in the middle of downtown and priced so reasonably, it’s easily one of the best taco spots around. Affordable, aesthetic, and insanely tasty—what more could you want?

The food was amazing. The cashier was very helpful. She told us what was some of her favorite tacos. After we got our food, she asked if we liked the food & even the manager came to the table and conversed with us. The energy was amazing.
Worst location, will serve cold tacos. Employee eating as he served food. Called to speak with a manager Tasha who was rude and told me when the GM comes in he would contact, never received a call and when I finally did he never called me back and acted as if he never seen this review in the voicemail.
