The food is always great but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The last time I was there, the person working the register came straight from the bathroom with a mop and started packing my food without washing his hands.

DASHER REVIEW:

As a driver, I do a lot of pickups from places all over the city. Velvet Taco may become one of my New found Love of places to visit for food and good vibes. It's close enough to downtown Charlotte to be a part of the inner city action, but far enough away to not be caught up in too much congestion.
It's semi tucked away on Tremont Street

The staff here by pleasant, angry you with a smile. It's clean...

The food was a 10/10 definitely my new favorite taco spot. I got there steak bowl and chips and salsa and they were top tier. I don't usually leave reviews for places but I had to leave a 5 stat review for this place cause it was just that good!
