This is hands down the best bakery in clt. I was there a little later in the day for my birthday and the two guys working were so charismatic and friendly! We got a chocolate croissant and a toast. Amazing. I’m convinced there’s nothing bad on the menu.

Hidden gem in Plaza/Oakhurst. Wonderful people who make delicious fresh bread. The staff is always very friendly and kind. Makes you feel great about supporting local and feel fortunate to have Verdant in our neighborhood!

Popped in for some fresh bread, I was with my 19-year-old. He's never had a French bag yet. Fresh before. Oh my God. This bread was so fresh and so warm. I could feel it through the bag. The gentleman at the counter was extremely nice. We had a conversation about baguette and needless to say I live in Denver and I will drive here at least every two weeks to get my bread. It was that amazing.

Usually get my Verdant bread at the Matthews Farmers Market on Saturdays. Love the calamata loaf. Stopped by their storefront today to get some ciabbata and baguettes. Going to my friends house for lunch, he's from Italy and loves Verdants breads. They're the only ones who come close to true Italian style bread.
