Very nicely decorated to start with the positive. Parking terrible. Requested quiet corner when made reservation & received table in middle of dining room wall with others seated around our table as they arrived. Constant interruption by service staff & asked that they not take my bread plate away. Well, bread plate was taken when I had a mouthful of food. Food was just ok, definitely not worth the price in my opinion. One person in our party had a dinner special which was very minimal in quantity & maximal in price. Would not go back again nor recommend.
Disappointing! I have been to Via Roma several times, as well as the Conte's other locations. This was a celebration for my father's birthday and our server was basically non-existent. I understand it was a Saturday night, however, either you were under-staffed or completely unorganized. I had to ask twice for a simple glass a wine; after waiting over 30 mins, went to the bar and got it myself. We had two different servers try to bring us food that was not our own THREE TIMES. Food is always good there, I will say that, however for the prices you are paying, get your servers up to speed. Not acceptable and likely my last trip there sadly.
We were a party of 4, had wonderful service and the food was outstanding. The halibut with crab was the best dish I've had in a long time. The usual white bean dip was great, risotto was wonderful. Can't wait to return. One thing that wasn't great was my French Martini. This is the first place that I had one and I loved it. Every time we returned I would order one and they were always great, until last weekend. So sad🙃
Food and Service were exceptional. Two issues impacted the evening negatively. First, we had an 8:15 reservation but didn't get seated until nearly 8:45. The hostess kept checking with us and saying they were trying to move people along but they wouldn't leave the table. Second, and certainly not their fault but one table and one person who kept screaming instead of talking the whole meal and when his date could interrupt, she shrieked. It was painful listening to them the whole evening.
Restaurant was ridiculously loud. We could not hear each other at our own table. Food was very good. Service was impeccable Spent a lot of money for a less than enjoyable atmosphere
Via Roma's staff made excellent drinks and were very personable. The bar is cozy and a perfect place for pre dinner drink. Dinner entrees were excellent, service very attentive and the choices for specials were varied. Recommend highly. This is a busy area during rush hour so give yourself extra time to get here
Paul and Megan are probably the only reason I go there but it also would keep me coming for the fantastic calamari, gnocchi pasta and the desserts are amazing. My personal favorite is the panna cotta, I'm drooling just thinking about it. Paul has such a great personality that makes
you feel welcome but also keeps it at a high class level, he knows how to conduct the table around him and a guest never leaves unhappy with any of his suggestions. Megan always has my usual order ready to go when we get to the host podium. If you want good food and an enjoyable experience check this place out.

Unlikely previous pleasant experiences, we were rushed through dinner. Several staff members hovered over the tables asking if we were done. Our server was great, kiddos to her. Today’ other staff has much to learn from the staff at Toscana.

This place is amazing. I’ve eaten here many many times. I’ve even moved further away and continue to make the drive to Via Roma. The staff are professional and efficient. Owner caters to the guest and is as authentic as you can get. If you want a restaurant that cares for its people and will provide consistent good service Via Roma is your spot.

For the price and the plating, this restaurant is mediocre at best. The food is tasty, well some of it, I found my veal to be quite overcooked and the marsala to be verging on bitter and burned. The staff is exceptional. I think their prices would be warranted if they amped up their food game and put more care into preparation. Overall, I have to say I will not return to this restaurant. It is sad because it gets a lot of good hype, but very disappointing in the end.

Our family LOVES THIS RESTAURANT because there is something delicious for everyone on this menu. The wines are beautiful and accompany the cuisine perfectly. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting with a fun bar and festive cocktails. I can’t say enough about the staff, they are all fabulous!! They are always welcoming and offer friendly intuitive service. Thank you for so many wonderful celebrations!

As Italian it makes me always “smile” reading reviews of people considering this the “best Italian food” lol - you obviously don’t have any idea of Italian cuisine. So overpriced for the quality offered. No more grazie !
