Did you know that April 30 is Jazz Appreciation Day??? I didn’t until today! Marvelous jazz offerings- live performances from groups including Herbie Hancock Ensemble, Dave Potter, Ron Brendle Quartet, Art Blakeley Ensemble - a treat for the eyes, ears, heart and soul! Thank you JazzArts Charlotte!

Attended a free concert. Limited seating available. Be sure to bring your own chairs just in case. Food trucks on site. Restrooms a plenty (porta potties)… surprisingly clean! Friendly and pleasant.

Nice little outdoor venue in uptown. We attended a Beattles cover band concert. There was a permanent structure that served beer, as well as food trucks that came in for the event. We enjoyed our time and thought it was a very well kept, clean, secured place.

Just a parking lot, but they have managed to put containers with murals and chairs separated for Covid distance so I feel safe and entertained, with a jazz concert from JazzArts. There are a couple of food trucks today, a Jamaican Coast catering and a Smoothiies, ice cream and coffee truck. The sound reverberates a bit, probably because of the buildings around. But one of the side of this parking lot has trees on the side, which softens the whole space. Overall happy to be out and listening to music outdoors. I will come back and bring friends.
