Hands down the absolute BEST and MOST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD in the QC!!! Lived in Asia-Pacific for 6 and half years. Searched for Thai food and Asian cuisine without any luck, for over two years - this place (the Tom Yum brought tears to my eyes- lemongrass , kaffir lime leaves- yep, this - definitely NOT chicken broth). Tears, yep - REAL TEARS. Pad See Ew, Shrimp Panang, Fresh Spring Rolls, Chicken/Shrimp Pad Thai med spicy, the Peanut sauce (whewwww). Can’t wait to try the Papaya Salad… I LOVE THIS PLACE!

I just got back from an incredible six-week adventure in Vietnam and Thailand, and I've been craving authentic Vietnamese pho ever since. After doing a little research, I decided to drive to Viet-Thai Restaurant, and let me tell you— it was absolutely worth the trip!
I ordered a large bowl of pho, and it did not disappoint! The broth was rich, flavorful, and had that perfect depth I had missed. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the generous portion of tender meat was a delightful surprise.
What really stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients. Everything tasted so authentic, like I had just stepped into a local eatery back in Vietnam. Plus, the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better.
If you're craving high-quality pho or just looking for a taste of Vietnam right here at home, Viet-Thai Restaurant is the place to be. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings! Highly recommend!

Nice place to get yellow curry and pho from!!!! Have never eaten inside but I do believe they serve you with to go containers. No big deal I’m here for the food. Nice staff quick food preparation. Will go again 🙏🏾

My recent visit was the 3rd time. I usually take out, but decided to dine in this evening. The lady behind the counter holding down the orders is always so very nice. The customer service is excellent and swift! You can really tell the family value their business. The friend spring rolls are the best and my boyfriend is very particular about chicken, however, their wings surpassed his expectations. 10/10 the best Thai food! We will definitely be adding this place on to our top restaurants to go to in the neighborhood.

We just happened to see Viet-Thai on Friday after Thanksgiving while shopping at Harris Teeter. We got the Tom Kha Gai and the spring rolls. Everything was really good and the ingredients were very fresh. We were looking for a different taste after our heavy Thanksgiving dinner. We were not disappointed. We will definitely be back soon.
This was a great find in North Charlotte nearish the university. Green curry was an above average portion and crazy good. Sad I don’t have a second stomach to try more of this food. Might have to sneak by before I fly out tomorrow. Atmosphere is basic but clean. Came for the food and Viet Thai delivered!
