OMG!!! This dessert spot is it!!! Amazing cake and great portions. My wife and I love the chocolate cake. I'm gonna enjoy this carrot cake and pound cake one bit at a time for a little while, and then go back when in town for another round. It's that good!!

This was my first time here.

I bought a slice of chocolate cake and a strawberry chocolate chip macaroon (sounds delicious right).

This was my first time ever trying a macaroon. I wanted to see what all the hype was over them. Well...unfortunately when I bit into it, it tasted like refrigerator. It wasn't delicious like I hoped it would be. It wasn't even good.

Villani’s is the type of place that deserves a sixth star. Was visiting Charlotte and randomly visited based on proximity to downtown and ratings. First impression, there is a small parking lot, hooray! Was already sold. Entered the smallish building to find one of the most beautiful selections of Italian//NY/ with a touch of southern pastries. There was more than ample staff on the busy Saturday morning that were so patient and helpful while I contemplated all my selections....
