We stopped by here while we were in the area, each time in the past it was always empty. Perhaps because it was cigar week in Charlotte they had a nice crowd. I didn’t order any food, service and drinks were ok. Nice outdoor seating.

It's always great to get there and be greeted by the amazing staff, have a couple of cigars and drinks, and meet great people.

$12 wine served in a plastic cup. I have no problem with spending $12 for a glass of wine, but I do expect it to be in a glass. This isn't really a wine bar. It's connected to the restaurant next door, and the staff use this "wine bar" for storage. They are in and out constantly, but not to serve you. Okay selection which is why I gave 2 stars.

Went uptown with my wife for a date night, had dinner reservations nearby and wanted to stop in for some wine and a cheese plate before dinner. The place is small, but there weren't many people inside so we grabbed a couple seats by the bar. No employees were in sight, nor behind the bar. We waited for about 15 minutes and no one showed up - we even called to see if someone would come answer the phone and they didn't, so we decided to leave and get a drink next door at the Cotton Room at Belfast. As we walked out the door we saw a woman lackadaisically coming out of the back of the restaurant to get behind the bar. She made eye contact but said nothing to us as we left. This will be one of those awful experiences that we tell people about, and running a bar/restaurant like this is totally unacceptable. If I could give zero stars I would.

Connected to a pub and eatery. I only had one glass of wine because it had obviously been open for a couple days. This place is more of a local pub then a wine lounge. Employees are not knowledgeable of the wine they carry and they clearly don't serve enough to keep the bottles fresh. Also, the bathrooms are disgusting! The women's bathroom doesn't even lock correctly... putting a sign up saying "please knock this is an old fashioned door" is not a fix to this problem.

Attached through a small hallway on the back side of Valhalla Pub in Latta Arcade /Across from Romare Bearden Park. 3 or 4 hightop tables, one large booth table and maybe 5 seats at a small bar. Very cozy and intimate. Almost...romantic! Music is quiet so people talk quietly and it's a very nice place for a couple of drinks after work or even later. Low-key. Happy Hours appetizer options, but you can also order from the Valhalla menu which is varied and good. Service is prompt and friendly.

We are staying in Charlotte for a weekend getaway. It's raining so we decided to find somewhere close to go relax and have a glass of wine. We walked 2 blocks in the pouring rain to find the doors locked at 6:45pm on a Saturday evening.....the hours clearly stated 4pm- 2am.....there was no sign on the door as to why they were locked.....and to make it worse, we were standing there in the rain with someone (who appeared to be an employee) sitting at the bar looking at us......not going back!!!!

Closed at 12:30 on a Saturday night. Walked from our hotel looking for an adult place to talk and have a nice drink. Disappointing.

In a cute, cobblestone alley in downtown Charlotte. This place is a little confusing, though - it is the same place as Valhalla Pub and Eatery or is somehow associated. Stopped by for a drink on the patio on a Tuesday afternoon. The bartender appeared to be the only person working and was moderately attentive. Drink selection is standard; wine selection is decent with average by-the-glass price being $8-10. Atmosphere inside is very pub-like and feels quite casual for being a "wine bar."

Why have I never heard of Brevard Court? Glad I finally discovered this cute little spot last night. The cobblestone courtyard in the alley is filled with wine bars, restaurants and shops and will make you feel like you aren't in Charlotte anymore. We stopped into the Vintage Wine Lounge for an appetizer and glass of wine. We sat at one of the round barrel tables and Rachelle was tending the quaint little room. She recommend a great blend that was on special as well as the Sauteed Shrimp. The wine was great and the shrimp were fantastic! They were tossed in a delicious sauce and luckily the dish was served with white toast so I got to soak it all up. I don't know if its a Scandinavian touch to add toast with a meal, but I like it. I will definitely be back to this little gem. Cute atmosphere, awesome service and delish food.

This is my hang when I'm looking for a spot that's not too noisy and I want to catch up with some friends. NoDa beer on tap (as well as some regional bottled beer) and some decent bottles of wine, all at good prices. The best night to come hang out is definitely Tuesday. Dana is probably one of the coolest bartenders in town and the dj spins some pretty good tunes (though he has a long list of "no plays" that include Journey, Creed and a host of other really shitty bands).

This is a tiny little gem of a bar tucked into a classy alley (Brevard Courtyard) with several great local restaurants and a Subway. It is a small, intimate space, ideal for a pre- or post-dinner beer or wine. They have a TV for game day, and a very small space to stand or sit. When they're not crowded, you'll get the extended attention of a skilled bartender/ wine steward who knows how most of the available selections compare. They seem to have a carefully-chosen selection of good, reasonably priced wines and will serve by the glass or the bottle. Bottle prices essentially provide four glasses for the price of three. We stopped in there last night and shared a bottle of Donati Claret that we will probably order again. We tasted another claret that was also very good, along with a couple of great Chiantis. They feature a good selection of tasty beers as well. Last night, they had a keg of a mint-flavored wheat beer that we tasted and will return to sample again. It was very unusual, very drinkable, and reasonably light. This place should be a lot busier than it is. Go help them out and stop in next door at the adjoining restaurant. Next time, we'll have to do the same.

A little small for entertaining groups of friends or people watching, but ideal for small chats and drinks after work. The wine selection is very good, so too are the price points. The cozy leather couches, old school blues/country/soul music playing on the ipod places Vintage a notch higher than the other bars at Brevard Court.

We checked out Vintage last night and I can't say I was impressed. It was downright cold in there! We draped our coats over our laps but that still didn't offer much relief. The venue is sort of stark - iron bars as decor and stiff black leather couches, combined with the chill in the air, it was not very welcoming. Service was friendly and efficient (although we were two of four people in the place). They were out of more than two options on an already very small tapas-style menu. The blue cheese fig panini we ordered was lackluster. The bread wasn't very high quality and I thought the flavors were a bit too sweet for me personally. I thought it was very strange that our server actually told us that no one orders that and the cook was shocked when he gave him our order... not a good sign! I did appreciate that our server took the time to ask how the food was and asked us for honest feedback, which we gave. He did say he would take note of the bread for next time and possibly add some arugula to the panini. I will say the wine selections were priced great - and we did enjoy our bottle. I think with a better atmosphere and food this place could earn some more stars in the future. I'll check back in a few months.
