Came to restaurant about 5 am on a Friday morning. Opened the metal-glass door to the smell and sound of bacon and eggs sizzling on the grill. A pile of hash browns cooking in the left corner of grill.I love coming to this place! The food is good. The people are authentic. It gives me a relaxed feeling. I gives me permission to be myself.Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming here! I think they love the open kitchen and the juke box.

This restaurant could not get the food prepped! After 30 minutes after order was placed one of our party was served one of their 3 portions. Then 2nd portion served 10 minutes later. They never got the 3 portion or rest of party's meal. Paid for served food and went to a different restaurant to get food. Unfortunately this waffle house appeared to have an inexperienced cook. Management could spend some effort coaching! Waitress was nice and professional. Restaurant was freezing cold but clean and well maintained.

A nice breakfast place , which is always full , don't go in a hurry looking for quick breakfast especially when going with a family , good food and good service
This is the best waffle house I have ever been to. Service was fast and friendly, I was so amazed how the staff worked together cooking and serving. Definitely would go back. Reminded me of waffle house of old when people actually tried to do a good job. Appreciate this place and the workers.

3/12/24 I got the cheesesteak bowl. I'm not happy with my food at all. Everthing is the exact opposite of what I wanted. Harshbrown are white not brown, n crispy. Asked for runny eggs, their cook thru n thru. I guess I'll have to drive to Waffle House in Gastonia to get it my way. N it cost more. Just discovered the meat is burnt. Getting food like this makes me want to figure out how to make it better at home. You knew it was burnt n served it to me anyway?!?! Oh, forgot the lady taking my order called cook to the grill n they didn't even come. She had to start my food. Don't see any reason to return to this place. ? Not Happy at All.

After complaining they made another one and that one was burnt which is pictured on the left. The store Manager Timothy gave a piss poor excuse saying it was because of the new waffle maker that they have is the reason for this poor excuse of a waffle. I have been eating at Waffle House for almost 30 years and have NEVER received a waffle so despicable like this, Sometimes coming in just to get a waffle w/pecans.I've also worked at Waffle House and if you lift it before it's done or the batter is not made correctly or not timed perfectly this is the result! While the waiter Shanelle looked at me with disgust never showed any empathy bc I wanted a refund of my whole meal, which I shouldn't have had to ask for and still paid for the other meal while I just sat there and watched my party eat!! I sure wish I had an order to audit this location and the workers! Corporate/Franchise needs to be made aware of this mess! I would have given zero stars if I could have, bc of the audacity, mixed with no empathy, had to watch my party eat, and me having to go find food elsewhere. I will not be spending another dime with this establishment bc I work too hard for my money to be wasted and my time is valuable.

My friend and I ate here 01/22/24 at 8:45pm. The service wasn’t good. I don’t expect a fine dining experience when I go to Waffle House, but I have gone out of my way to leave excellent reviews at other locations. Even though there was nobody eating at the time we arrived, it took a good amount of time to order, and the only thing we could hear was the server having an attitude on a personal call. My friends bacon came out so burnt that it wasn’t edible. My order was actually ok, but was rushed to hand over my plate. Rushing me to finish my dinner is ultimately what made me leave this review.
