Food was good. The interior decor could use a little more non utilitarian looking furnishings. I don't see this as a place I would frequent. Nothing outstanding to bring me back.

Great breakfast joint. Food was fresh and seasoned well. Grits were surprisingly tasty and perfect consistency

We were here months ago, and maybe I missed the signs then, or more likely that they are cheapening the offering.
I ordered a classic breakfast with sausage patties, and the hashbrowns were typically warm, and soggy, and the sausage had way too much pepper in it. One of our group had the chicken and waffles, but the waffle mix itself had a very sweet flavor to it, which was OK, but not great.
It was margarine instead of butter,
it was no name, ketchup versus a good tasting ketchup,
it was one small cup of hot tea with no refills, no pot of tea, just a cup.
It was charging extra if you used a credit card
Service was mediocre, and at the end, it was apparent that cleaning tables and doing chores was more important than getting us checked out.
While it had been months since we had gone last time, it’s probably going to be years if ever that we go again.

As someone who eats out often for breakfast, Wake Up and Eat surpassed all of my recent experiences. Their breakfast potatoes were so crunchy and delicious! The pumpkin waffle was amazing, not crazy sweet. Great service and atmosphere, I will be back!

Let me tell you guys this restaurant is phenomenal the service is great and staff are friendly. The food is always hot a fresh and quick to get to your table but on weekend it will take a little longer just because it gets super packed. What I would recommend is the lemon blueberry French toast for breakfast it’s so delicious 😋 and for lunch I would recommend the chicken tenders with fries and let me tell you guys these chicken tenders are so delicious they are made fresh in house and go great with honey mustard. Wake up and eat also offers smoothies and Frappuccino’s that are so good 🤤 So if your in the Harrisburg area or looking for a new breakfast joint definitely stop by wake up and eat!

Here is what I absolutely hate about this place: I should have visited sooner! Finally Went in on a Friday morning and sat at the breakfast bar. Service was great and food was absolutely delectable. Great servings for the price point. I didn’t order from the speciality coffee or mimosa menu but also found that to be a nice touch for this family owned restaurant. I tried the blueberry lemon French toast (OMG), and an omelette. Wish i had more room to finish off the home fries—they were just that good. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out. Plenty of top tier locally/family owned restaurants in the Harrisburg area, and this one certainly makes the list.

I was seated outside by the hostess and handed a menu, so I figured service would follow soon after. But ten minutes went by and no one ever came—no drink order, no hello, nothing. The only sting worse than being ignored was watching a single table that sat down after me get immediate attention while I was left waiting. I eventually just got up and left. The place looked nice, but the service made me feel like I didn’t exist.

Great food, reasonable prices. Kind server. Food came out quickly once we were able to order but everything else was slow, particulary getting the check and having someone come to front where we have to pay. If understaffed, maybe consider pay at table options so customers can help themselves and get out in a reasonable amount of time.

Friendly staff. They don't serve real butter, only margarine. If you want to default to margarine ok but have butter for those that request it. Toast was barely toasted. OJ and grapefruit juice were low quality. Otherwise food was decent.

Great food. Service could have been better. My wife asked for Splenda 2 times. We eventually asked another table. Food came quickly but refills on drinks did not.
