so, the food here is usually good and the service is usually good. But, when we get a specific waiter, the whole experience is bad. His name is Lewis. Anytime we get him, everything takes 10 times longer, for some reason; the food isn’t as good, etc. He took 20 minutes to get us ice water. He’s very nice and I know he doesn’t mean to do a poor job, but he lacks common sense in his job. On no planet do two ice waters take 20 minutes to bring. On no planet do two meals take 40 minutes to bring. He doesn’t check on you, no refills on your drink, whereas when you get another waiter, they check all those boxes. I can tell he’s young and maybe all of his social skills haven’t developed yet because of that, but it’s still not my problem. Train him on how to be a better server. All we want is for you to not take 36,000 years getting us waters or an additional 29,000 years to take our order.
The food is always amazing and the service is always perfect. The waitresses know us by now and we love coming here.

Loved it. Definitely going back.
Cute breakfast place. We were sat right away and servers were very nice. We got an omelet and French toast with eggs and turkey bacon. The food was very good. $14 for one breakfast and $3 for one coffee was little pricey in my opinion. Also would have loved to have option for biscuits instead of toast and extra napkins on the table. Overall good experience.

I have not had the opportunity to visit this place yet but, guess who will be there, one day, real soon. I have been spreading, the good news about how yummy, it looks, to my tummy. We are all about to get fat. I gained 3Ibs just by looking at this delicious food.. I feel it in my Shanana! I probably spelled that wrong but, my spirit for all my saved folk.
I'm bringing them with me! Lol
5 Stars upfront, just for bringing the taste of Big Momma's Kitchen, to good ole Harrisburg, NC.

The food is amazing!! My favorite breakfast/ brunch spot hands down. Prices are very reasonable. I try a different menu item each time I go and have not been disappointed. Only criticism is how long the service can take, which is understandable when it’s busy. Other than that, the wait is definitely worth it!

I specifically requested gluten-free pancakes and when the waitress came and brought it I asked her to confirm that it was gluten free and she said yes. My daughter started eating it halfway through and then they brought the real gluten free pancakes. I was very upset, dangerous situation. The waitress did not even want to offer free strawberries and bananas to my daughter to help out, she charged her. She hardly ate the new pancakes cause everyone was upset.

My fiancée and I had an awesome experience at Wake Up & Eat. I had the shrimp and grits—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. She had the chicken and waffle, and it was crispy, tender, and full of flavor. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Solid spot for brunch or a casual bite. We’ll definitely be back!

If you are a party of 1 don't go. They do not seat you. I was told they prefer bigger parties. Oh well. It looked not busy to me. Open tables.

Pancakes dry a bit tough on the bottom. Pancake syrup didn't even help. The bacon however was good and thick. Service was good. I wish that their pancakes weren't so dry and that they had more hot coffee options.
