Loved the decor and ambiance of this place to begin--sexy, modern, dim. Our hostess/waitress/bartender (LOL) was sweet and attentive. The food was outstanding. We shared some apps first. The standouts were the pork gyoza, which was both tender with a perfect pan sear on one side, and the shrimp shumai which came swimming in a sauce so flavorful that we dipped everything else in it! The spring rolls were decent, if a tad doughy for my taste. Do yourself a favor and order the double fried wings in Kudoku sauce. We seriously had to stop ourselves from getting another order because we knew the entree was coming. We shared the Korean short rib entree. I thought the pieces of meat would have been be a little thicker, but it was very tasty. The Brussels sprouts that came with it were phenomenal! I'd eat those as a main course. *giggles* I'll be back! Wonderful addition to the Plaza Midwood food scene.

We had a "company dinner" of 7 people. A mix of sushi, udon, soba and misc appetizers. All the food was excellent as was the waiter and host. I will return!

My husband and I love this place! It was one of the first restaurants we visited in Charlotte, and we've been back many times. To start with, the cocktails are amazing! I almost always have the spicy margherita, and my husband is very fond of the espresso martini. I've also sampled the Mystic Basil and Unami Margheritas. Yum! The bartender, Aaron, is friendly and attentive, always ready for conversation if you come in alone. Even the owner, Andrew, is given to mixology on occasion. As to the food, there is definitely an Asian twist, as Japanese food is Chef Nobu's specialty. That being said, he also prepares delicious and healthy bowls with salmon or meat or just veggies. And if you ask, he will make you one of his sushi sandwiches, which are out of this world. Mimi is usually our waitress, and she's great at suggesting go-withs, including something from their thoughtful wine list. And did I mention the free parking? In a neighborhood where you think you might run out of gas before you find a spot, there's plenty of parking out front. They also have live music and DJs occasionally, and a patio out front for dining in good weather. Overall, a great dining experience!Parking: Free parking in front of the building

I went here when it was the Warmick and it had a great ambience, music playing, a pretty happening place and now they have change the name and the food isn't that great. I wasn't impressed and doubt I'll go back until they get it more upscale like it use to be.

I would give Kuduko a solid 3 out of 5 - the service staff was friendly, and the food was okay (we ordered the wings, brussels, dumplings and a few sushi rolls). Everything was moderately flavorful, but it was a bit overpriced for the portions (especially the sushi) and it came out a bit slow. The space was pretty cool inside, but it was just not super memorable.

They were understaffed, but they worked like a team and were very cohesive. The food was delicious too!

Service was not good at all. There were 2 servers for the entire restaurant on a Saturday evening. The staff was nice and I fully understand what it's like to be swamped, but there were no customer service skills used to make the experience better. My sushi did not come out until 15 minutes after my boyfriends plate. So we basically ate our dinner separately which was not a good experience. We told the server we were still waiting on it, to which he responded "for sure, for sure" and walked away. No apology for the delay and he didn't even check with the kitchen to see when it would be ready. In addition, the food quality was very sub-par for what you pay. My sushi had no flavor so I actually didn't finish it. My boyfriends curry dish did not look appetizing either.

No matter the quality of food or service. It’s pretty sad that this establishment relies on boot money to cover their bottom line. it’s well known in the neighborhood this place preys on anyone unfortunate enough to park in their lot. They will boot in 5 mins. I’ve witnessed the manager staring into the parking lot as if waiting for another victim. Sadly it not only hurts patrons but the other local businesses in the area. Can’t change your name to hide from your reputation.

So, I browsed the boutiques adjacent to the restaurant and went to a bar beside the area and returned to my car towed. The "chef" (generous use of the term, line cook at best), had towed my friends car and booted another car in the same lot while denying ever calling the towers on us. keep in mind, multiple other cars were also parked that were not "patrons" of the restaurant that had not been towed. additionally, the restaurant was dead empty and typically is, so its not like the spots are being "taken" from other customers. ON TOP OF THAT, its a SHARED parking lot for customers of the other shops beside this stupid restaurant, KUDOKO DOES NOT HAVE SOLE CUSTODY OF THE LOT. just ridiculous. how miserable do you have to be in your own life to do this lol

First time here and it was nice! Really enjoyed the salmon tacos and tuna stacker! The yakisoba noodles were great too. We're not on this side of town often - but I'd definitely return again. Service was great, and I loved the lighting. Nice spot!

First time going there and we trade it out for Valentine's Day. It was very good. We will go back again. Sushi great. Korean short ribs were the really thin kind. I was expecting the thick and juicy ones. Just fyi but I will not take a star off. It was my perception of what I was expecting which was different. All was good!!!

I'm not sure if this was an off night but everything was terrible. The kitchen seemed backed up, food took forever. The sushi took forever even though there were two guys making it. A couple of our rolls were super fishy and not fresh tasting. The surf and turf was horrific. I don't even know what was in the roll and then they piled a bunch of beef on top of the dish. The server kept forgetting to get our drinks to the table and I was looking around, I could see our surrounding tables were having the same issue: forgotten food and drinks, mistakes on orders etc. Avoid going to this place!!

Used to be called The warmack but I guess once I got shot there on NYE they changed the name of the establishment and wiped it under the rug as if it never happened. Won’t respond to lawyers, won’t acknowledge what happened to me, never aired on the news absolutely NOTHING! Yet here I am, a whole year later and still in the wheelchair not able to walk. Thanks a lot!!!!!

The food was excellent, the service was excellent, management was extremely helpful as well. Our table ordered a large assortment of appetizers, sushi and dinner dishes and everything was great, no complaints. Our server was great as well, got all our orders in correctly, got everything we needed in a timely manner and even though we were on a time crunch we were in and out on a busy weekend night. Lastly I wanted to thank the manager who helped us get parking on a crazy weekend.Parking: This isn't the restaurant's fault but on a busy night people will park in their parking lot to go to other bars in the area making parking here difficult. The Manager was extremely helpful with finding and getting spots for our party though.

I only ordered small plates, the Crab Moz sticks and Bao Buns of the day! I was full! The Miso marinara sauce that comes with the Moz sticks is soooo good!! Both food items I ordered were great!!! My friend ordered the deadliest catch sushi roll and said it was really good! It’s a cute little place to eat. I also understand this is essentially a rebrand of the previous restaurant that was there. However it was my first time and I would absolutely go back!!
