They clearly don’t check their online orders. Had to stand in line for 5 minutes just to find out they hadn’t even checked their iPad for my online order. Weren’t apologetic about it either. Spent a total of 20 mins here waiting when it should’ve been a quick in and out process. My Morning Sunshine sandwich also only had egg on one half of it. For a sandwich to cost $6.50 I’d expect it to have all of the ingredients on the entire sandwich.

I've now gone here several times and each time has been worse then the time before. When asked for a recommendation, it was met by a scoff and rolled eyes. Unfortunately not everyone has the opportunity or privilege of having different coffee drinks so a menu can be intimidating if they don't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino because they might have only ever had drip coffee. Another time I brought my mother who is a pescatarian which was said at the time of ordering and she asked for a bagel with avocado and an egg. This was done incorrectly twice. The first time it was brought out with bacon. And the second time it was just the wrong sandwich. But it's a real cute atmosphere. The staff seems uninterested in being there and annoyed at any customers. Thankfully they are in a neighborhood where there are other coffee shops where the employees at least seem happy/helpful, rather than miserable.

Great espresso shot! More dark/chocolatey but with plenty of tastable notes versus a 2x4 to the back of the head.... Perfect for-here espresso demitasse cups. Plenty of nice seating options and super friendly, prompt service. Watched a parked train sit at the crossing for a good 15 minutes -- caveat visitor!

(Kinda) iykyk anyway... My body had some struggle In the fallout of tasty slurp. That being said tots worth.

I tried the Paradise drink, which was so sweet I couldn’t finish it bc my teeth hurt. Either get half pumps of syrup or order an extra shot (or two) of espresso to bring it back to reality. The flavors were on point tho! My wife’s matcha tasted good too, and I don’t even like matcha. The place was clean, bright, quiet, and had reasonably soft chairs if you need a comfortable place to work. Love that nearly all the tables were 2-seaters to fit in more people with adequate personal space, but in the back room there is a large table with room for 8-10 chairs. Bc it’s separated from the front dining room by the order counter, it looks like a prime place to have an off-site meeting or just enjoy your coffee family-style.

Nice new coffee shop in the neighborhood. This review is about customer service: Emmanuel is always so kind and welcoming and he is the reason I will return. My first visit was not pleasant with another barista as she was not welcoming when I was checking out the spot for the first time, she acted as though she was bothered and only spoke when spoken to and in one word responses, but Emmanuel has completely turned around the experience. He sets the standard of how barista service should be! Thank you and great job to Waterbean for having him be a great representation of your company!
